The National Black Political Caucus had met with the President of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Malcolm Prime and other Pittsburgh Pirates hierarchy urging them to affirmatively recruit, hire, promote and retain highly qualified Blacks.   The Caucus also urged the Pittsburgh Pirates to set time tables and goals for doing business with minority and female contractors and vendors.

Brown regarding my thoughts on what the criteria should be for the Fryeburg Academy Hall of Fame.  The letter posted below is MaryEllen Brown's response.  Fryeburg Academy, Fryeburg, Maine did establish the Fryeburg Academy Hall of Excellence in 2010.
