Senseless Killings in Tucson: America Has Always Been a Violent Society Since Its Inception

BLACK BUZZ NEWS SERVICE
TUCSON, ARIZONA
JANUARY 14, 2011
(BBNS)

TUCSON-( BBNS)
The Thirteen Colonies and the United States of America were founded on the premise of violence with the brutal systematic campaign of genocide against the proud indigenous tribes that included the confiscation of their lands in concert with an equally abhorrent harsh barbaric Anglo/British institution of slavery.
The American Revolution was not a bloodless event it was very violent.
America has in the past and continues to the present with its Roman (Nero)
mindset to be a country that glorifies violence which is depicted in every aspect of American life and culture.
Individual violence as well as government sponsored violence (unjustified wars)are part of America's fragile DNA coupled with a love for guns/firearms are evidence of a mentally disturbed society.
The United States of America has more firearms along with an enormous stockpile of WM D's than the rest of the world combined.  This unintelligent twisted distorted love for firearms, blind naked violence, thirst for power and control, is deeply embedded in the American psyche which goes much deeper than some out of sync psycho-terrorist.
One can purchase or obtain a firearm in the United States as easily as buying a pack of football cards or apple pie.
Many Americans are not even aware of the fact that they are addicted to guns,  violence and its by products which is part of their denial in a mentally and emotionally disturbed society.
We need to significantly increase the funding for all areas of mental health and to quadruple the training/hiring of highly trained mental health practitioners.
America "The Beautiful" will go into the annals of history as the most violent nation ever known to mankind.  I have been on the streets of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Rabat, Tangier, Tripoli, Casablanca, Frankfurt, Bonn, Aviano, Rome,Venice, Milan, Geneva, Stockholm, Zaragosa, Ottawa, Copenhagen, Toronto, Montreal, Tijuana, Laredo, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Oranjestad, Nassau and have found that the streets in those foreign cities are safer than all of the streets in the large and small cities of the good old USA.
The United States of America has had more political assassinations of its leaders and heinous civil rights killings and lynchings than any nation in the world in similar size and population.
Some revisionist historians will tell you that United States had to drop the A bomb on Japan which was the most devastating weapon at that time, killing hundreds of thousands of people and injuring millions, some of whom are still living with the scars and burns from the dreaded explosion.
The revisionist historians say a land invasion of Japan would have cost the United States hundreds of thousands of ground casualties in manpower. The Japanese on their own turf would have been difficult to beat but the U.S. would have prevailed because the Japanese Air Force was basically down and out. Thus the revisionist argue that President Truman calculated it was better to kill hundreds of thousands or perhaps a million of the enemy to save the lives of hundreds of thousands Americans, whom if lost, the American public could not stomach or tolerate.
The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was one of the most violent acts in all of human history.
The European Settlers didn't have to kill all the Native Americans on the Southern and Northern plains.  They just simply killed and slaughtered 75 million buffalo or bison's thus destroying the Native indigenous tribes. The Plain tribes were totally dependent on the buffalo for their survival, but the Europeans didn't want to share the land in question.  They wanted it all. Those two acts, the bombing of the Japanese cities along with the destruction of the American bison show a mental disturbance in the dominant culture that has gone unchecked and untreated for well over 400 years.
THE VERY VIOLENT WAR BETWEEN THE STATES
The Southern States of America were so addicted to slavery that they waged an aggressive war of independence against the United States to maintain their way of life which resulted in the bloodiest conflict on American soil. A total of 620,00 soldiers died in that internal American conflict more commonly called the civil war. 360,00 Union soldiers died and 110,00 died in combat. 260,000 Confederate soldiers died and 93,000 died in combat.
Revisionist historians say the South succeeded because they were desirous of maintaining states rights and the issue of slavery was supposed to have been relegated to a position of secondary consideration. Let me be clear the landed aristocracy masquerading as Plantation owners in the South started the Civil War to protect their economic interest that being the free labor of those African slaves. The Plantation owners knew that without the exhaustive supply of free labor that their economy and way of life would cease to exist.
Poor whites in the south also benefited by the institution of slavery, and they knew their place in the pecking order and as long as slavery existed they had jobs. It was mostly the poor whites that fought on the side of the Confederate States of America who were led by many officers from the landed aristocracy.

All too often, we are what we have been carefully taught not to see! We have always been a country which has celebrated violence.

A true mark of civility in a given society cannot be measured by its military might, scientific and educational achievements, or industrial prowess but in how each one of its citizenry applies and practices the GOLDEN RULE which Americans come up significantly short on in upholding and practicing.

The great theologian, and warrior for justice, peace, freedom, fairness, liberation Dr. Martin Luther King Jr said in his famous New York Riverside Baptist church speech on April 4, 1967 titled "Beyond Vietnam: A Time To Break Silence" that the United States of America is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world."
The United States of America is still the most violent nation and society in the world who is in dire need of spiritual uplifting and a moral renaissance.

*When will Americans wake up and see the need for the teaching of mandatory Conflict Resolution/ Mediation courses in our nations schools in grades K-12 and on the collegiate level? Conflict Resolution/ Mediation courses should only be taught by personnel that is certified and highly qualified with a demonstrated track record of accomplishment in teaching these unique skills.

WHY DID 5,OOO BIRDS FALL FROM THE SKY IN ARKANSAS? THERE HAS TOO BE A PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION FOR THIS HAPPENING

BLACK BUZZ NEWS SERVICE
NEGRO HEAD CORNER, ARKANSAS
JANUARY 5, 2011
( BBNS)

NEGRO HEAD CORNER. Why and how did 5,000 innocent Red-Winged Black birds and European starlings, cowbirds fall from the sky in the state of Arkansas along with 125,000 drum fish, yellow bass, white bass who  were also found dead along the Arkansas river basin about 25 miles from the 5,000 bird deaths.
There has to be some plausible explanation for this horrific happening.
Perhaps all of the birds had a mid-air collision with each other and they just simply lost their bearings. Or maybe all of the birds were hit by a huge thunderous bolt of lightning coupled with an infectious fish disease that cause the drum fish to wash up dead on said shores.
Did these birds fly into the power lines with such great force?
Did the new years celebration arouse the birds to the point that they tried to escape from the loud and boisterous noises of the revelers?
Where these birds and fish the result of some government secret experiment on the environment? If so where there chemicals used in said experiments? And could those chemicals be the culprit in the instant case?
The state of Arkansas in concert with the Federal EPA, Department of Interior, Homeland Security need to begin to investigate to ascertain if any of the numerous manufacturers along the Arkansas river dumped hazardous deadly waste material into the Arkansas river? And did the fumes of those chemicals pollute the air resulting in the death of over 5,000 birds and 125,000 fish?

Did an ice storm cause the birds too freeze in mid-air? Did a shift in the poles cause the birds to freeze to death? Where the fish killed by giant killer fish from South America, China, or another unknown country of origin, who have  invaded our sacred waters in North America? Are these new dangerous fish a threat to our internal security and well being?
Do these bird and fish deaths signify some type of omen for the state of Arkansas and the USA?
We have already seen the invasion of African killer bees in the USA and those horrible nasty stink bugs from China attack our country with relentless force and devastation.
Did a domestic ( Home grown) terrorist organization or foreign proxy of Al Qaeda commit these crimes against our fish and fowl?
Finally we should we ask the noted bombastic Theologian Pat Robertson about his position or take on the killing of 5,000 birds and 125,000 fish?
Do you think Rev. Robertson will tell us that state of Arkansas was cursed because they made a pact with the devil many years ago when they forced hundreds of thousands of Africans into slavery and stole many hundreds of millions of acres of land from the indigenous people?

*Did that curse on Arkansas also extend to grid iron where the Ohio State Buckeyes manhandled the Razorbacks 31-26 in the Sugar Bowl game?

WHEN IS THE LAST TIME A BIG TEN RUNNING BACK MADE INTO THE PRO-FOOTBALL HALL-OF FAME IN CANTON OHIO?

BLACK BUZZ SPORTS NEWS SERVICE
CANTON, OHIO
January 4, 2011
BBSNS

CANTON....(BBSNS) Paul Brown the legendary Hall of Fame coach of the Cleveland Browns drafted the fast and nifty RB Bobby Mitchell out of the University of Illinois in 1958, and he was the last Big Ten Running back to make it into Canton.
Mitchell teamed with the great Jimmy Brown in one of the greatest back fields ever in the NFL. However Mitchell was traded by the Browns to the Washington Redskins in 1961 in a trade that brought the hard running Ernie Davis to the Browns, but Davis never played a down with the Browns.
Ernie Davis was the first Black collegiate to win the highly coveted Heisman Trophy and he died with leukemia before he could play one down with the Browns.
Mitchell was one of the first Black players too play with the Lilly white Redskins along with Jack Nisby and Leroy Jackson.
Mitchell was primary a wide receiver with the skins, and he made into Canton as a wide receiver not as a running back.

Ohio State's Eddie George had a good NFL career, but he didn't have a Hall-Of Fame career. I saw Ray Lewis take his heart out in  every match-up between the Ravens and Titans. Study the game film and look at the statistics and you will see that Pittsburgh's Jerome "Bus" Bettis was more productive against the Ravens than Eddie George.
Notre Dame is not in the Big Ten.
Can anyone name two Big Ten Backs that can compare favorably to Bo Jackson or Hershel Walker? And neither Jackson or Walker are in Canton.
When is the last time a running back from the Big Ten led the NFL in rushing.
The Eagles Steve "the man" Van Buren was the last dominant great white running back in the NFL, and he played his ball at LSU. Van Buren was a beast and the great Jim Brown gave Van Buren his props at the 75th Anniversary team banquet.
John Riggins never won an NFL rushing title but the "Diesel" could really carry the leather. Riggins keeps telling people he's a Native American.
Red Grange and Bronco Nagurski played in the Big Ten before I was born.

I did happen too see the following Big Ten running backs such as J.C. Caroline, Abe Woodson, Mickey Bates, Herb Adderly, Archie Griffin, Jim Otis, Bob Ferguson, Bobby Watkins, Keith Byars, Howard Hopalong Cassidy, John Brockington, Alan "The Horse" Ameche, Vic Janowicz, Lynn Chadnois,  the great George Taliaferro and the spectacular Claude "Buddy" Young.
But none of those previous named Big Ten backs could run like Bo Jackson or Hershel Walker. Alan Ameche was a good inside runner and he played the game like its suppose to be played with passion and true grit.
The great Buddy Young was a sprint champ, and he tied the wolrd record in the 60 yard dash.   Buddy was also an NCAA Champion in the 100 yard dash at Illinois, and he was truly a scat back at five feet four inches.
Young ran a 9.4 100 yard dash and Bo and Hershel may not have beat Buddy. Both Bo and Hershel may have caught Buddy in the 100 meters, but that's still debatable. My money would be on Buddy Young to beat Jackson and Walker in the old 100 yard dash.
Buddy was lightning quick with great hands and he could block with the best of them. The late Buddy Young was built like a cannonball and many experts said he was a better running back than Army's Blanchard and Davis.
The Colts great Hall of famer Gino Marchetti states that " once Buddy Young beat the Colt's mascot a horse in the 100 yard dash, and he had a ten yard lead on the horse before the horse got going."
I had a 1950 Tops Football card of Buddy Young in a New York Yanks uniform. Buddy Young was truly a class act on and off the field.

* The Big Ten on a whole does not produce good quality swift hard running backs.

Frank Loose The Big One Beamer Goes Down To Defeat To The Stanford Cardinals 40-12: Stanford Pushed The Overmatched Hokies Around Like They Owned Them

BLACK BUZZ SPORTS NEWS SERVICE
 NEGROTOWN KNOLL, FLORIDA
January 4, 2011

NEGROTOWN KNOLL.....(BBSNS) Again a Frank Beamer coached team the ( Hokies) get's kicked from one end of the Orange Bowl to the next end by an upstart better prepared Stanford Cardinals.
The Hokies led by head coach Beamer are 1-19 against top 5 teams and it definitely appears as though Boise State should have been selected to play in the historic Orange Bowl Classic in Miami.
The Virginia Tech Hokies lacked intensity, effort, and they played like they were still on Christmas vacation. The Stanford Cardinals played better ball in all phases of the game.
Beamer can't win the big ball games which was even quite apparent even when he had the All World Michael Vick at the helm.
Andrew Luck looked very good in all phases of the game, and he executed the Cardinals game plan flawlessly. Even though Oliver Luck's son Andrew looked very polished, and prepared competing against the hapless Hokies he is no John Elway.
I have been watching and studying college football since 1947, and John Elway is the best over all talent to ever play the position of quarterback in the college or in the professional ranks. Mr Elway is a special, and unique talent that comes around once in a lifetime, and you have to forget about the number of  wins and losses in the Super Bowls.
I can say that Elway was the best prepared player to play QB coming into the collegiate ranks which was obviously because of his father ( Jack's) great teaching and instructions.
The main responsibility of a coach is too teach, instruct, motivate, and inspire and John Elway always had a leg up on all the competition.
If John Elway would been the engineer ( QB) of those same San Francisco 49ers teams of Joe Montana, Elway would have won 7 Super Bowls.

Andrew Luck is a very good talent but the best QB in the Bowls this season maybe the transfer from Michigan, Ryan Mallett.
At 6'7' 238 pounds Ryan Mallet  right now is a more accurate passer, faster and stronger than the Pittsburgh Steelers Big Ben Roelisthburger, and he has played against better competition in the SEC than the over hyped Andrew Luck. Mallett set's up in the pocket slower than Luck, but his quick release is more reminiscent of legendary Dan Marino. Both Mallett and Luck have excellent footwork in setting up in the pocket, but I  think Mallett is the more accurate of the two in passing, reading defenses and going through his progressions.

If the Ohio State Buckeyes don't bring their A+ game tonight in the Sugar Bowl they will be going back to Columbus like the boys from Ann Arbor, and East Lansing Michigan and State College PA as losers.
Didn't Wisconsin and Northwestern also loose?

              SUGAR BOWL UPDATE- FIRST HALF
*The Buckeyes T. Pryor was on fire in the first half as the men from Columbus won the battle in the trenches were football games are won and lost.
The Arkansas players don't appear too be to bright and intelligent dropping all of those key passes thrown by Ryan Mallett.

* Its still very unfortunate that we do not have a bona-fide College Playoff system in place presently in Division I-A because Alabama ( the tide) has been the best looking team in this season's bowl match-ups.
If the "Tide" were too play Stanford they would massacre them.

Older Drivers Can Be A Road Hazard: All States Need To Pass Comprehensive Mandatory Driver's Tests For Senior Citizens

BLACK BUZZ NEWS SERVICE
FRYEBURG, MAINE
January 3, 201
(BBNS)

FRYEBURG..(BBNS) All states in the United States of America need to pass legislation that would require all drivers over the age of 65 to take and pass a mandatory comprehensive driver's test, vision test, and a physical road test ( behind the wheel exams) every three years.
It is a known fact that fatality rates for driver's begin to climb after age 65, according to a 2007 study by the world famous Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, based upon data from 1999-2004. From ages 75 to 84, the rate of about three deaths per 100 million miles driven is equal to the death rate of teenage drivers. For drivers 85 and older, the fatality rate skyrockets to nearly four times higher than that for teens.
The elderly population is booming beyond all leaps and bounds and the U.S. Census Bureau projects there will be 9.6 million people 85 and over by 2030, up 73% from today. Road safety experts predict that by 2030, when all baby boomers are at least 65, they will be responsible for 25% of all fatal crashes.
"AARP Jump On Board"
Statistics from the National Highway Safety Administration have revealed that drivers 65 and over have higher crash rates than younger drivers, and it would be an appropriate safety measure to test all drivers 65 and over in all of the previous mentioned categories.
Its true that drivers 65 and over are being singled out, but it is in their best interest relative to their health, safety and welfare in calling for mandatory comprehensive drivers testing.
Further it is a proven fact that senior drivers have a significant decline in their physical and mental abilities behind the wheel at the age of 63.
Even the American Medical Association stated in a 1995 study that senior drive should be required to appear at mandatory motor vehicle departments to renew their drivers license.
I am highly recommending that the AARP advocate and support legislation in all of the states that calls for the comprehensive drivers testing of all seniors behind the wheel with bona-fide drivers tests, road tests, vision tests which will improve the safety of its members, other seniors and all drivers.
"AARP quit playing politics with our seniors lives"
This is not the time for the AARP too be playing politics with the lives of any American citizen particularly with our senior population who is the most at risk in the instant case.
" Quite frankly I'm tired of ducking and dodging these senior drivers on the roads."
We need State Legislators to finally act and behave like Representatives of the people and "Take the Bull by the Horns" and stand-up for all drivers by sponsoring and passing this much needed legislation in the area of mandatory testing of all drivers over 65 that would include comprehensive road test, drivers test, and vision tests every three years.

*Let's make all of our roads safer for all drivers by passing this much needed legislation in the various state capitals

ANGRY DAWG NATION: Richt Has Too Go As UCF Wins First Bowl Game Over The Once Mighty Georgia Bulldogs 10-6

BLACK  BUZZ SPORTS NEWS SERVICE
WAYCROSS, GEORGIA                                                                              JANUARY 1, 2011
BBNS
Liberty Bowl Parade

MEMPHIS,  Tenn. ( BBNS)- Its a very sad day in the Dawg Nation as the once mighty University of Georgia Bulldogs loose to the University of Central Florida 10-6 in the Liberty Bowl, which capped UCF's best season in school history.
UCF beat Georgia in every phase of the game especially in the trenches of the line play on both sides of the ball where football games are won and lost.
UCF was better prepared and they put forth the far better effort coupled with relentless intensity.
Richt DAWGS had the ball on the UCF 3 yard line with fourth and 1 and Ricth made an irresponsible decision to kick a field goal instead going for the first down or a touchdown. That poor decision by head coach Ricth probably cost the Dogs the game and it should cause Richt to loose his job at UGA
Richt has been supposedly developing, coaching and training the Georgia linemen and backs since last August. But Richt did not have enough confidence in his offensive linemen or backs to get 1 yard at the UCF 3 yard line is stunning and bordering on the absurd. Richts unintelligent action of not going for the 1 yard should result in his dismissal as head coach.
This is the first losing season for Georgia since going 5-6 in 1996, when the great Hines Ward was playing for the DAWGS.
I am fully aware of the fact that coach Richt has many supporters at the University of Georgia, and I personally think Richt is a decent person. But the bottom line is winning the Big games, and getting the Dawgs into a BCS Bowl game each year.
I could stomach the lost to the backward West Virginia Mountaineers led by Pat White several yeas ago in a bowl game, but loosing to a team that plays in a stadium that seats 45,000 (UCF) is an out rigth embarrassment and insult.
How can I convince young prep stars all over the country to come to the University of Georgia when Mark Richt is still in charge at UGA?
Some of the top prep stars in the state of Georgia are leaving to play out of state and that should never happen in any case.
Since Richt has been the head coach at UGA they have had enough talent to win a couple of National titles but under Richt the Dawgs have been less than stellar. Former Dawgs dot the rosters of all NFL teams, which is great tribute to coach Richt and staff. Two years ago the Dawgs were the pre-season number one team in the nation but numerous off the field problems and injuries prevented the Dawgs from a making a real run on the bogus National title.
However coach Richt should not be rewarded for mediocrity.
President of the University of Georgia Dr. Michael Adams you cannot afford to let personal affection for Richt stand in your way in making a painful decision to discharge Richt from his position as head coach of the famous Georgia Bull Dogs. It is in the interest of UGA to fire Richt or hire another top flight coach in waiting to take over next year from Ric ht. Dr Adams no one person is bigger than the University of Georgia, and Presidents of Universities always have to make tough personnel decisions. Decisions to hire and fire  personnel must be based on sound data and Mark Richt's report card has shown a significant lack of progress therefore it is the judgment of the Black Buzz Sports News Service that coach Richt be relieved of his duties.

Please read and review December 8, 2010 article titled  "This Dawg Barks And Bites: The Dawgs Meet UCF IN THE OBSCURE Liberty Bowl
at http://blackbuzz.blogspot.com/
*The author notes the Dawgs were not barking or biting in the game against UCF.
