Saunders and other officials of the National Black Political Caucus worked tirelessly with officials from the Butler County Community Development Corporation, State Senator Timothy Shaffer, Governor Richard Thornburg and his staff and Dr. Leon Sullivan, board member of the General Motors Corporation in an effort to have the Saturn Manufacturing Facility located in the Keystone State of Pennsylvania.
