Caucus Opposes Thomas
The nomination of Clarence Thomas to the U.S. Supreme Court is being opposed by the National Black Political Caucus. Ronald B. Saunders, Caucus chairman, said the organization decided to oppose Thomas, who is Black, because the nominee is inexperienced, inept and incompetent.
