Specter's Loyalties Lie With The President

In regard to the Senate's confirmation of William Rehnquist, we find the actions of John Heinz and, specifically, Arlen Specter to be inconceivable and politically traitorous. In June, officers of the National Black Political Caucus met with Mr. Specter in his Washington, D. C. office and urged him to vote against Mr. Rehnquist for the position of Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
However, Mr. Specter put his own self-serving interests above the common good for Blacks, women, Jews, other racial minorities, person born between 1917 and 1921 ( notch babies ) and fair-minded, rational intelligent whites- solely because this is an election year and Mr. Specter realizes the fact that he will need more white Democratic crossover votes, plus he needs to sustain an appreciable number of white Republican voters to ensure his return to the United States Senate.
Thus voting against Mr. Rehnquist would only be a political liability; however, we intend to turn Mr. Specter's vote for Mr. Rehnquist into a political handicap of equally grave proportions. Mr. Specter has shown the entire Black community in Pennsylvania, among others, where his loyalties lie-with the President, Ronald Reagan, and the maintenance of the status quo.
How can a Jew in good conscience vote for a man such as Mr. Rehnquist, who owns property in Vermont, that still has a restrictive covenant against the sale of said property to any member of the Hebrew race ? In so doing, Mr. Specter, voted to confirm a man whose house he cannot move into in the State of Vermont.
We find Mr. Specter's actions to be reprehensible and intolerable, and to those Black Democrats for Specter as well as the Black Republicans for Specter who continue to support him even now, we say you have betrayed your race for your own self-serving political interests.
Many of you Negroes would sell your mother, for a dry bone or crumb from a two- faced white politician. We in the Black community in Pennsylvania will expose you and your colleagues when necessary.
Moreover, the Blacks who work for Mr. Specter and on his behalf, and those who would vote for him out of pure ignorance, are to be reminded that in South Africa, those Blacks would be called collaborators, informers, traitors or modern day house servants. We should be aware of what happens to those kinds of Negroes in the final analysis.
The confirmation vote of Mr. Rehnquist to the position of Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, involves a lifetime appointment with the impact to be felt for decades, which is far more important than the vote to extend the 1965 Voting Rights Act or any existing or pending civil rights legislation.
Mr. Rehnquist values are deeply rooted in 18th-century America, and he is an arch-enemy of the Black community USA having proved from early adulthood to his famous dissenting vote in the Bob Jones University case that he is our nemesis.
Arlen Specter voted in favor of our enemy, so what does that reveal him to be ? We strongly urge all intelligent Blacks, women, Jews, Labor-Union members, farmers, miners, and fair-minded, rational intelligent whites to reject Mr. Specter's swishy-washy, vacillating politics of expediency on Election Day.

Blogger Black Buzz says Senator Arlen Specter has voted for all of the present sitting right wing extremist, activist, ideologue Justices on the Supreme Court. They are as follows : Alito, Kennedy, Roberts, Scalia, and uncle Clarence Thomas. Furthermore Specter's nasty insulting, demeaning, degrading treatment of Anita Hill before the Senate Judiciary Committee Confirmation Hearing in the matter of Judge Uncle Thomas, showed his true colors. Specter's treatment of Anita Hill during Thomas's Confirmation Hearing for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court, was the most cruel, and despicable behavior toward a Black woman, on the floor of the U.S. Senate in the modern day era. A vote for turncoat Specter in this year's Pennsylvania Primary, means that you are in favor of his votes of support for all those throwback-type of Civil War Reconstruction Justices on the United States Supreme Court.
Also note that Rehnquist as a law clerk for Justice Jackson, wrote that Plessy vs. Ferguson, was the right decision. Then the sly as a snake Rehnquist, attempted to double talk his away from those comments by attributing them to a dead man Justice Jackson.
I am very proud to say that I have never voted for the Arlen Specter, and I urge all Pennsylvanians to vote against Specter. I would vote for Donald Duck & Mickey Mouse, before I would vote for Arlen Specter.
Hey Arlen, which way is the wind blowing today ?
Maybe President Obama promised Senator Specter, a new underground bunker down in the Greenbrier Resort, in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia .
