Port Elizabeth... The Netherlands trounced the heavily favored team from Brazil 2-1. Brazil scored first, but the second half belonged to the Dutch as they scored twice. The Dutch outplayed, and out hustled the Brazilians in the second half. Brazil lost because of mistakes, yellow cards, and a gross lack of effort on the part of the Brazilians. This may have been the worst performance of any team from Brazil in the history of World Cup play.
This lost by Brazil to the Netherlands has to be an embarrassment to the entire country of Brazil, and the Brazilian goal keeper should be fired for his hapless play and effort.
I am hoping now that Ghana can win in their match with Uruguay at 1430 hours today. I would have liked to have seen Brazil play Ghana in the final of the World-Cup, but now I think the Ar gentians may play in the final.
