In reference to Ricci vs. DeStefano(New Haven-Firefighters case),Justice Ginsburg correctly interpreted the Title VII provision on adverse impact, while Justice Kennedy writing for the majority knowingly and willfully made new law for the sole purpose of hacking away at the adverse impact provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
I always felt the two people that I admired most on the United States Supreme Court were Justices Thurgood Marshall and Justice Ginsburg.
Justice Ginsburg is the only person in the history of the high court to make the Harvard Law Review and the Columbia Law Review. Justice Ginsburg graduated from Columbia Law School with High Honors.
Contrast or compared Justice Ginsburg's legal accomplishments to Clarence Thomas, who never argued a case in any venue and you will see the need to appoint the best&brightest legal scholars available to the U.S. Supreme Court.
