The Virginia Cavaliers knocked off the men from Radford as K.T. Harrell scored 13 points in 24-5-first half run and Virginia held Radford scoreless for nearly 15 minutes on Tuesday night December 7.
How could any college team hold another team scoreless in the modern day era for a whole fifteen minutes?
Indeed Virginia Coach Tony Bennett was right the man for the job at Virginia.
Harrell was 5 for 5 from the field with three 3-pointers during the first half burst as the Cavaliers ( 6- 3) won the opener of an eight game home stand.
The reliable Maustapha Farrakhan and freshmen Joe Harris led the Cavaliers with 14 points each, and Mike Scott had points and 13 rebounds.
The Duke Blue Devils and the other teams in the ACC better bring their A + game when they play Virginia because the men from Charlottesville are a mission to get to the NCAA Tournament and one day they may advance to the Final Four.

HOW ABOUT THOSE CAVALIERS!
