Atlanta (BBSNS).. The powerful Georgia DAWGS trailed most of the game but battled back in the second half like 5 ferociuos Bull Dawgs to beat the Engineers who now claim to be Yellow Jackets 73-72.
The mighty DAWG Dustin Good News Ware nailed his seventh three 3 pointer of the game with 15 second remaining in the game to give the Mighty Dawgs a 73-70 lead.
For some unknown reason the Dawgs let Glen Rice score an uncontested two point shot with over six seconds left to close the men from Athens lead to 73-72.
On the next possession the engineers now masquerading as Yellow Jacktes failed to deliver the bacon as the Dawgs prevailed with a win.
Dawgs, Dustin Good News Ware and Trey Big Truck Thompkins led the Bulldogs with 21 points each. Gerald Robinson, Jr. scored 11 points and Sherrod Brantley added 9 points off of the Dawg bench.
The Dawgs are now 6-2 overall with four quality non-conference wins:
Colorado and UAB at home and Georgia Tech and St. Louis on the road.
