Delta Raises Prices

Delta Airlines will be raising their price of tickets due to escalating fuel costs. It has already been reported that Delta Airlines and other airline companies have old antiquated aircraft that are obsolete and poorly maintained. What intelligent American would want to travel on such aircraft in the first place?
The crisis in the airline industry along with the commercial crisis consumers are experiencing with extremely high gasoline and diesel prices, is merely reflective of a country that does not have a grasp of the severity of not having a comprehensive energy policy which attests to the poor political leadership at all levels of government and the self serving greed of the corporate CEO’s, board of directors and their stockholders.
