Mr. John McCain McSame, Barack Obama is the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee’s Subcommittee on European Affairs. As Chairman of the Subcommittee on European Affairs, Mr. Obama does not have the power or responsibility to hold hearings on Afghanistan. Mr. McCain, Afghanistan is in Asia, not in Europe. Mr. McCain, Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. of Delaware is Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and they have conducted extensive inquiries at the committee level on Afghanistan.
Mr. McCain, if you would have been in attendance in the Senate, perhaps you would have had knowledge of who is on what committees.
