John McCain Doesn’t Believe Women Should Be Afforded Equal Pay

The following appeared on the website of the National Women’s Law Center , located in Washington, D.C.
Support Fair Pay for Women
On April 23, 2008, the Senate voted on a motion to advance the Lilly
Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, a key bill that would have a major impact on the
lives of women who’ve been subject to pay discrimination. While we
didn’t get the 60 votes necessary to move to the next big step----scheduling
a debate and vote on the bill itself----the fight isn’t over. Tell your Senators
the bill deserves fair consideration on the Senate floor.

John McCain (McBush) voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Equal Pay Act of 2008. Mr. McCain (McBush) said it would result in too many frivolous lawsuits and undue litigation on employers.
Mr. McCain, this country isn’t Myanmar (Burma) which you can’t locate on the map. The United States is a country of laws and regulations. That’s how we attempt to resolve our disputes between employees and employers in the U.S.A. Furthermore, what type of female who is sane would vote for John McCain with his apparent bigoted bias towards females. If you vote for John McCain you will get another third Bush term that devalues and under appreciates women, and a lack of strong civil rights enforcement by the U.S. Justice Department, the U.S. Office of Contract Compliance, Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor and the EEOC and other statutory, regulatory bodies that have the authority to remedy and resolve equal pay disputes.
