On April 12, 2014 at the Dr. Edna B. McKenzie Room in Jones Hall, Suite 102 of Community College of Allegheny County, Allegheny Campus, Dr. Ralph Proctor gave an in-depth presentation on his new book, titled: Voices from the Firing Line; A Personal Account of the Pittsburgh Civil Rights Movement.  Dr. Proctor's book was well received by those in attendance and a vigorous question and answer period followed the presentation.
I encourage all people to purchase Dr. Proctor's book who have a keen interest in understanding the history of the civil rights movement in Pittsburgh. Dr  Proctor's book sheds new light on evidence that was not previously recorded or documented.
