Party Crashers At Obama's First State Dinner

Black Buzz News

Tyson's Corner, Virginia

How did the couple Michaele Salahi & her husband Tareq get into the first state dinner of the President of the United States of America when they were not invited or on an invitation list to get into said affair ?
This couple lied to get into the President Obama's first state dinner and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
It is also apparent that the White House Social Secretary Office's is the real culprit in the instant case and Desiree Rodgers should be fired if it can be proven that she is the one responsible for the miscue not the United States Secret Service. This whole administration appears to be amateurish in everything they say and do. Perhaps in retrospect old Dick Cheney knew something about the Obama administration that could be basically true relative to our Domestic and National Security Operations under the Obama regime have rendered our own treasured White House vulnerable to an attack by party crashers.
Perhaps the United States Congress can get to the bottom of this gross breach and lack of security at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
I have never heard of such an overt invasion of the White House in the last 135 years.

I think Charlie Weis is a fine human being, who should not have been hired in the first place as head coach of the "Fighting Irish ". My aunt Minnie could see that Charlie Weis wasn't head coach material.
If the folks in South Bend really want a proven coach that could shake out the thunder from the sky and light up that declining program hire former Pittsburgh Steeler coach Bill Cowher. Bill Cowher is the type of fire and brimstone coach that Notre Dame needs at this important period in there history.

Hey CJ Spiller What Happened To Your Stomach ? The Gamecocks Rock Clemson 34-17

What happened to the Clemson's All World Heisman Candidate CJ Spiller who gained a total of 17 yards rushing. I guess the boys from Clemson thought they were playing one of those weak ACC teams like Georgia Tech. The University of South Carolina plays in the number one football conference in the land the SEC and those Gamecocks helmets were pounding on CJ's stomach all day and that's what accounted for all his pain. How can this guy CJ Spiller be a legitimate Heisman candidate with 17 yards rushing ?

The Georgia Bulldogs Showed The Entire Nation Why The SEC Is King : Georgia Spanks Georgia Tech 30-24

Coach Mark Richt and staff are to be commended for getting the highly acclaimed Georgia Bulldogs up to play the vastly overrated Wreck from Georgia Tech. The Dawgs just simply won the battle in the trenches from the opening kickoff to the final second of the game in which Georgia proved they were by far the better team.
Football games are won with the play of the offensive and defensive lines in the pits and trenches.By playing in the number one college football conference the SEC Georgia has consistently played against superior teams than Georgia Tech.
Georgia despite its inferior record this season has better talent than Georgia Tech, and most high school recruits throughout the Southeast also recognize that fact.Georgia teams coached by Mark Richt are 8-1 against Georgia Tech and the popular Dawgs lead the series 60-37-5.
Mark Richt owns Georgia Tech and no one can tell me that coach Richt doesn't have Georgia Tech's number. All the (top tier-one) five,
and four star recruits in the state of Georgia, Florida,South Carolina,Texas,Tennessee, Alabama,Mississippi,New Jersey, and Pennsylvania should be breaking the door down to sign letters of intent with the mighty Dawgs. The University of Georgia has turned out five times as many bona-fide collegiate players for the pros as their inter-state rival Georgia Tech in the last nine years. The pro scouts love the University of Georgia and just count the number of Georgia players on the present day NFL rosters.
A game ball should be given to Shaun Chapas the UGA fullback who knocked over and blocked every Wreck player in sight. Mr. Chapas should be a number one draft choice in the up coming N.F.L. Draft in 2010. I rate Chapas as the number one fullback prospect for the 2010 N.F.L. Draft, and the University of Virginia's fullback Rawshaun Jackson as the number two (2) fullback candidate in the 2010 Pro draft.
Everyone in the Bulldog Nation knows that Georgia played extra extra hard against Tech in memory of Uga VII who passed unexpectedly on November 19,2009.

HOW ABOUT THOSE BULLDOGS AND BRING ON A BIG 12 OPPONENT OR PAC TEN OR BIG EAST OPPONENT

*OUTSIDE OF OHIO STATE THE BIG TEN DOES NOT HAVE A QUALITY OPPONENT FOR GEORGIA TO PLAY, AND IOWA, PENN STATE, AND WISCONSIN ARE JUST TOO BIG, SLOW AND NOT MEAN ENOUGH FOR THE DAWGS OF THE SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE.

Tiger Woods Injured in Car Accident

BLACK BUZZ NEWS
November 27,2009
Negrotown Knoll,Florida

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the number one golfer in the world, Tiger Woods was involved in an accident early Friday morning near his home in the exclusive Isleworth subdivision of Orlando.
According to news reports Mr. Woods hit a fire hydrant and a tree after exiting his driveway at 2 :25 a.m. in the morning.
Why was Tiger leaving his home at 2:25 a.m. in the morning and where was he going ? Was Mr. Woods leaving his home because of a medical emergency ?
Why did it take the Florida Highway Patrol 12 hours to report this accident to the media ? Did Mr. Woods consume any alcohol before and after the holiday festivities ? What was his blood alcohol content level at the time of the incident in question ? Why didn't the law enforcement officers on duty issue any Breathalyzer test ? How can you hit a fire hydrant and a tree if one of your faculties is not impaired ?
Did Woods have an argument with his wife the former nanny/model Elin Norgegren or did he venture off on a sightseeing tour along the ocean front in his Cadillac SUV at 2:25 a.m. ? It just seems odd that Mr. Woods would leave his house to go shopping at 2:25 am in the morning. Perhaps Mr. Woods had to catch an early plane flight to places unknown ? Mr. Woods probably had to make a diaper run and when he looked on his GPS to get directions for said, his Escalade hit the fire hydrant and tree.
Woods is married to the former nanny/model Elin Norgegren but what would cause a man to leave his home at 2:25 a.m. and why ?
I am also wondering why Mr. Woods was driving a Cadillac Escalade, rather than a Buick Enclave because he had long association with the Buick brand plus the fact that the Enclave has far superior visibility than the top heavy larger clumsy Escalade. Also note that the Escalade is much higher than the Enclave and at night this may have caused Mr.Woods difficulty in seeing lower foreign items such as a fire hydrant, small bush, or tree.
Why didn't the air bags deploy ? The Escalade air-bags are supposed to deploy after going 25 mph. Someone from the world famous Cadillac Division of General Motors will have to explain why those air-bags didn't deploy in the case of Mr. Woods accident. Well thank God Mr. Woods was not hurt as seriously as initially reported. He apparently left the hospital with only minor injuries to his lips, mouth and other parts of his face.
It looks as though that old Escalade caught "Tiger by his tail " and he probably wishes he was still driving a Buick Enclave.

WHEN DOES THE SPIN BEGIN, AND WHY IS IT TAKING THE WOODS SO LONG TO GET THEIR STORY TOGETHER ?
WHEN IS THIS FAKE NEWS CONFERENCE BY THE WOODS GOING TO OCCUR ?

The American Thanksgiving: Rejoicing In Genocide And White Supremacy

By Glen Ford
27 November, 2006
Black Agenda Report
"Thanksgiving as presently celebrated is an affront to civilization.”

Nobody but Americans celebrates Thanksgiving. It is reserved by history and the intent of "the founders" as the supremely white American holiday, the most ghoulish event on the national calendar. No Halloween of the imagination can rival the exterminationist reality that was the genesis, and remainsNobody but Americans celebrates Thanksgiving. It is reserved by history and the intent of “the founders” as the supremely the legacy, of the American Thanksgiving. It is the most loathsome, humanity-insulting day of the year – a pure glorification of racist barbarity.
We should all be thankful that the time grows nearer when the almost four centuries-old abomination will be deprived of its reason for being: white supremacy. Then we may all eat and drink in peace and gratitude for the blessings of humanity’s deliverance from the rule of evil men.
“The near-erasure of Native Americans in Massachusetts was the true mission of the Pilgrim enterprise – Act One of the American Dream.”
Thanksgiving is much more than a lie – if it were that simple, an historical correction of the record of events in 1600s Massachusetts would suffice to purge the “flaw” in the national mythology. But Thanksgiving is not just a twisted fable, and the mythology it nurtures is itself inherently evil. The real-life events – subsequently revised – were perfectly understood at the time as the first, definitive triumphs of the genocidal European project in New England. The near-erasure of Native Americans in Massachusetts and, soon thereafter, from most of the remainder of the northern English colonial seaboard was the true mission of the Pilgrim enterprise – Act One of the American Dream. African Slavery commenced contemporaneously – an overlapping and ultimately inseparable Act Two. The last Act in the American drama must be the “root and branch” eradication of all vestiges of Act One and Two – America’s seminal crimes and formative projects. Thanksgiving as presently celebrated – that is, as a national political event – is an affront to civilization.
Celebrating the unspeakable
White America embraced Thanksgiving because a majority of that population glories in the fruits, if not the unpleasant details, of genocide and slavery and feels, on the whole, good about their heritage: a cornucopia of privilege and national power. Children are taught to identify with the good fortune of the Pilgrims. It does not much matter that the Native American and African holocausts that flowed from the feast at Plymouth are hidden from the children’s version of the story – kids learn soon enough that Indians were made scarce and Africans became enslaved. But they will also never forget the core message of the holiday: that the Pilgrims were good people, who could not have purposely set such evil in motion. Just as the first Thanksgivings marked the consolidation of the English toehold in what became the United States, the core ideological content of the holiday serves to validate all that has since occurred on these shores – a national consecration of the unspeakable, a balm and benediction for the victors, a blessing of the fruits of murder and kidnapping, and an implicit obligation to continue the seamless historical project in the present day.
“The story provides the essential first frame of the American saga. It is unalloyed racist propaganda.”
The Thanksgiving story is an absolution of the Pilgrims, whose brutal quest for absolute power in the New World is made to seem both religiously motivated and eminently human. Most importantly, the Pilgrims are depicted as victims – of harsh weather and their own naïve yet wholesome visions of a new beginning. In light of this carefully nurtured fable, whatever happened to the Indians, from Plymouth to California and beyond, in the aftermath of the 1621 dinner must be considered a mistake, the result of misunderstandings – at worst, a series of lamentable tragedies. The story provides the essential first frame of the American saga. It is unalloyed racist propaganda, a tale that endures because it served the purposes of a succession of the Pilgrims’ political heirs, in much the same way that Nazi-enhanced mythology of a glorious Aryan/German past advanced another murderous, expansionist mission. Thanksgiving is quite dangerous – as were the Pilgrims.

Rejoicing in a cemetery
The English settlers, their ostensibly religious venture backed by a trading company, were glad to discover that they had landed in a virtual cemetery in 1620. Corn still sprouted in the abandoned fields of the Wampanoags, but only a remnant of the local population remained around the fabled Rock. In a letter to England, Massachusetts Bay colony founder John Winthrop wrote, "But for the natives in these parts, God hath so pursued them, as for 300 miles space the greatest part of them are swept away by smallpox which still continues among them. So as God hath thereby cleared our title to this place, those who remain in these parts, being in all not 50, have put themselves under our protection."
“The Pilgrims thanked their deity for having ‘pursued’ the Indians to mass death.”
Ever diligent to claim their own advantages as God’s will, the Pilgrims thanked their deity for having “pursued” the Indians to mass death. However, it was not divine intervention that wiped out most of the natives around the village of Patuxet but, most likely, smallpox-embedded blankets planted during an English visit or slave raid. Six years before the Pilgrim landing, a ship sailed into Patuxet’s harbor, captained by none other than the famous seaman and mercenary soldier John Smith, former leader of the first successful English colony in the New World, at Jamestown, Virginia. Epidemic and slavery followed in his wake, as Debra Glidden described in IMDiversity.com:
In 1614 the Plymouth Company of England, a joint stock company, hired Captain John Smith to explore land in its behalf. Along what is now the coast of Massachusetts in the territory of the Wampanoag, Smith visited the town of Patuxet according to "The Colonial Horizon," a 1969 book edited by William Goetzinan. Smith renamed the town Plymouth in honor of his employers, but the Wampanoag who inhabited the town continued to call it Patuxet. The following year Captain Hunt, an English slave trader, arrived at Patuxet. It was common practice for explorers to capture Indians, take them to Europe and sell them into slavery for 220 shillings apiece. That practice was described in a 1622 account of happenings entitled "A Declaration of the State of the Colony and Affairs in Virginia," written by Edward Waterhouse. True to the explorer tradition, Hunt kidnapped a number of Wampanoags to sell into slavery.
Another common practice among European explorers was to give "smallpox blankets" to the Indians. Since smallpox was unknown on this continent prior to the arrival of the Europeans, Native Americans did not have any natural immunity to the disease so smallpox would effectively wipe out entire villages with very little effort required by the Europeans. William Fenton describes how Europeans decimated Native American villages in his 1957 work "American Indian and White relations to 1830." From 1615 to 1619 smallpox ran rampant among the Wampanoags and their neighbors to the north. The Wampanoag lost 70 percent of their population to the epidemic and the Massachusetts lost 90 percent.
Most of the Wampanoag had died from the smallpox epidemic so when the Pilgrims arrived they found well-cleared fields which they claimed for their own. A Puritan colonist, quoted by Harvard University's Perry Miller, praised the plague that had wiped out the Indians for it was "the wonderful preparation of the Lord Jesus Christ, by his providence for his people's abode in the Western world."Historians have since speculated endlessly on why the woods in the region resembled a park to the disembarking Pilgrims in 1620. The reason should have been obvious: hundreds, if not thousands, of people had lived there just five years before.
In less than three generations the settlers would turn all of New England into a charnel house for Native Americans, and fire the economic engines of slavery throughout English-speaking America. Plymouth Rock is the place where the nightmare truly began.

The uninvited?

It is not at all clear what happened at the first – and only – “integrated” Thanksgiving feast. Only two written accounts of the three-day event exist, and one of them, by Governor William Bradford, was written 20 years after the fact. Was Chief Massasoit invited to bring 90 Indians with him to dine with 52 colonists, most of them women and children? This seems unlikely. A good harvest had provided the settlers with plenty of food, according to their accounts, so the whites didn’t really need the Wampanoag’s offering of five deer. What we do know is that there had been lots of tension between the two groups that fall. John Two-Hawks, who runs the Native Circle web site, gives a sketch of the facts:
“Thanksgiving' did not begin as a great loving relationship between the pilgrims and the Wampanoag, Pequot and Narragansett people. In fact, in October of 1621 when the pilgrim survivors of their first winter in Turtle Island sat down to share the first unofficial 'Thanksgiving' meal, the Indians who were there were not even invited! There was no turkey, squash, cranberry sauce or pumpkin pie. A few days before this alleged feast took place, a company of 'pilgrims' led by Miles Standish actively sought the head of a local Indian chief, and an 11 foot high wall was erected around the entire Plymouth settlement for the very purpose of keeping Indians out!”It is much more likely that Chief Massasoit either crashed the party, or brought enough men to ensure that he was not kidnapped or harmed by the Pilgrims. Dr. Tingba Apidta, in his “Black Folks’ Guide to Understanding Thanksgiving,” surmises that the settlers “brandished their weaponry” early and got drunk soon thereafter. He notes that “each Pilgrim drank at least a half gallon of beer a day, which they preferred even to water. This daily inebriation led their governor, William Bradford, to comment on his people's ‘notorious sin,’ which included their ‘drunkenness and uncleanliness’ and rampant ‘sodomy.’”
Soon after the feast the brutish Miles Standish “got his bloody prize,” Dr. Apidta writes:
“He went to the Indians, pretended to be a trader, then beheaded an Indian man named Wituwamat. He brought the head to Plymouth, where it was displayed on a wooden spike for many years, according to Gary B. Nash, ‘as a symbol of white power.’ Standish had the Indian man's young brother hanged from the rafters for good measure. From that time on, the whites were known to the Indians of Massachusetts by the name ‘Wotowquenange,’ which in their tongue meant cutthroats and stabbers.”
What is certain is that the first feast was not called a “Thanksgiving” at the time; no further integrated dining occasions were scheduled; and the first, official all-Pilgrim “Thanksgiving” had to wait until 1637, when the whites of New England celebrated the massacre of the Wampanoag’s southern neighbors, the Pequots.
The real Thanksgiving Day Massacre
The Pequots today own the Foxwood Casino and Hotel, in Ledyard, Connecticut, with gross gaming revenues of over $9 billion in 2000. This is truly a (very belated) miracle, since the real first Pilgrim Thanksgiving was intended as the Pequot’s epitaph. Sixteen years after the problematical Plymouth feast, the English tried mightily to erase the Pequots from the face of the Earth, and thanked God for the blessing. Having subdued, intimidated or made mercenaries of most of the tribes of Massachusetts, the English turned their growing force southward, toward the rich Connecticut valley, the Pequot’s sphere of influence. At the point where the Mystic River meets the sea, the combined force of English and allied Indians bypassed the Pequot fort to attack and set ablaze a town full of women, children and old people.
“Many prisoners were executed, and surviving women and children sold into slavery in the West Indies.”

William Bradford, the former Governor of Plymouth and one of the chroniclers of the 1621 feast, was also on hand for the great massacre of 1637:
"Those that escaped the fire were slain with the sword; some hewed to pieces, others run through with their rapiers, so that they were quickly dispatched and very few escaped. It was conceived they thus destroyed about 400 at this time. It was a fearful sight to see them thus frying in the fire...horrible was the stink and scent thereof, but the victory seemed a sweet sacrifice, and they gave the prayers thereof to God, who had wrought so wonderfully for them, thus to enclose their enemies in their hands, and give them so speedy a victory over so proud and insulting an enemy."
The rest of the white folks thought so, too. “This day forth shall be a day of celebration and thanksgiving for subduing the Pequots," read Governor John Winthrop’s proclamation. The authentic Thanksgiving Day was born. Most historians believe about 700 Pequots were slaughtered at Mystic. Many prisoners were executed, and surviving women and children sold into slavery in the West Indies. Pequot prisoners that escaped execution were parceled out to Indian tribes allied with the English. The Pequot were thought to have been extinguished as a people. According to IndyMedia, “The Pequot tribe numbered 8,000 when the Pilgrims arrived, but disease had brought their numbers down to 1,500 by 1637. The Pequot ‘War’ killed all but a handful of remaining members of the tribe.”
But there were still too many Indians around to suit the whites of New England, who bided their time while their own numbers increased to critical, murderous mass.

Guest’s head on a pole
By the 1670s the colonists, with 8,000 men under arms, felt strong enough to demand that the Pilgrims’ former dinner guests the Wampanoags disarm and submit to the authority of the Crown. After a series of settler provocations in 1675, the Wampanoag struck back, under the leadership of Chief Metacomet, son of Massasoit, called King Philip by the English. Metacomet/Philip, whose wife and son were captured and sold into West Indian slavery, wiped out 13 settlements and killed 600 adult white men before the tide of battle turned. A 1996 issue of the Revolutionary Worker provides an excellent narrative:
In their victory, the settlers launched an all-out genocide against the remaining Native people. The Massachusetts government offered 20 shillings bounty for every Indian scalp, and 40 shillings for every prisoner who could be sold into slavery. Soldiers were allowed to enslave any Indian woman or child under 14 they could capture. The "Praying Indians" who had converted to Christianity and fought on the side of the European troops were accused of shooting into the treetops during battles with "hostiles." They were enslaved or killed. Other "peaceful" Indians of Dartmouth and Dover were invited to negotiate or seek refuge at trading posts – and were sold onto slave ships.
It is not known how many Indians were sold into slavery, but in this campaign, 500 enslaved Indians were shipped from Plymouth alone. Of the 12,000 Indians in the surrounding tribes, probably about half died from battle, massacre and starvation.
After King Philip's War, there were almost no Indians left free in the northern British colonies. A colonist wrote from Manhattan's New York colony: "There is now but few Indians upon the island and those few no ways hurtful. It is to be admired how strangely they have decreased by the hand of God, since the English first settled in these parts." In Massachusetts, the colonists declared a "day of public thanksgiving" in 1676, saying, "there now scarce remains a name or family of them [the Indians] but are either slain, captivated or fled."
Fifty-five years after the original Thanksgiving Day, the Puritans had destroyed the generous Wampanoag and all other neighboring tribes. The Wampanoag chief King Philip was beheaded. His head was stuck on a pole in Plymouth, where the skull still hung on display 24 years later.
This is not thought to be a fit Thanksgiving tale for the children of today, but it’s the real story, well-known to the settler children of New England at the time – the white kids who saw the Wampanoag head on the pole year after year and knew for certain that God loved them best of all, and that every atrocity they might ever commit against a heathen, non-white was blessed.
There’s a good term for the process thus set in motion: nation-building.

Roots of the slave trade

The British North American colonists’ practice of enslaving Indians for labor or direct sale to the West Indies preceded the appearance of the first chained Africans at the dock in Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619. The Jamestown colonists’ human transaction with the Dutch vessel was an unscheduled occurrence. However, once the African slave trade became commercially established, the fates of Indians and Africans in the colonies became inextricably entwined. New England, born of up-close-and-personal, burn-them-in-the-fires-of-hell genocide, led the political and commercial development of the English colonies. The region also led the nascent nation’s descent into a slavery-based society and economy.
“Once the African slave trade became commercially established, the fates of Indians and Africans in the colonies became inextricably entwined.”
Ironically, an apologist for Virginian slavery made one of the best, early cases for the indictment of New England as the engine of the American slave trade. Unreconstructed secessionist Lewis Dabney’s 1867 book “A Defense of Virginia” traced the slave trade’s origins all the way back to Plymouth Rock:

The planting of the commercial States of North America began with the colony of Puritan Independents at Plymouth, in 1620, which was subsequently enlarged into the State of Massachusetts. The other trading colonies, Rhode Island and Connecticut, as well as New Hampshire (which never had an extensive shipping interest), were offshoots of Massachusetts. They partook of the same characteristics and pursuits; and hence, the example of the parent colony is taken here as a fair representation of them.
The first ship from America, which embarked in the African slave trade, was the Desire, Captain Pierce, of Salem; and this was among the first vessels ever built in the colony. The promptitude with which the "Puritan Fathers" embarked in this business may be comprehended, when it is stated that the Desire sailed upon her voyage in June, 1637. [Note: the year they massacred the Pequots.] The first feeble and dubious foothold was gained by the white man at Plymouth less than seventeen years before; and as is well known, many years were expended by the struggle of the handful of settlers for existence. So that it may be correctly said, that the commerce of New England was born of the slave trade; as its subsequent prosperity was largely founded upon it. The Desire, proceeding to the Bahamas, with a cargo of "dry fish and strong liquors, the only commodities for those parts," obtained the negroes from two British men-of-war, which had captured them from a Spanish slaver.
Thus, the trade of which the good ship Desire, of Salem, was the harbinger, grew into grand proportions; and for nearly two centuries poured a flood of wealth into New England, as well as no inconsiderable number of slaves. Meanwhile, the other maritime colonies of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, and Connecticut, followed the example of their elder sister emulously; and their commercial history is but a repetition of that of Massachusetts. The towns of Providence, Newport, and New Haven became famous slave trading ports. The magnificent harbor of the second, especially, was the favorite starting-place of the slave ships; and its commerce rivaled, or even exceeded, that of the present commercial metropolis, New York. All the four original States, of course, became slaveholding.
The Revolution that exploded in 1770s New England was undertaken by men thoroughly imbued with the worldview of the Indian-killer and slave-holder. How could they not be? The “country” they claimed as their own was fathered by genocide and mothered by slavery – its true distinction among the commercial nations of the world. And these men were not ashamed, but proud, with vast ambition to spread their exceptional characteristics West and South and wherever their so-far successful project in nation-building might take them – and by the same bloody, savage methods that had served them so well in the past.
“The ‘country’ they claimed as their own was fathered by genocide and mothered by slavery.”
At the moment of deepest national crisis following the battle of Gettysburg in 1863, President Abraham Lincoln invoked the national fable that is far more central to the white American personality than Lincoln’s battlefield “Address.” Lincoln seized upon the 1621 feast as the historic “Thanksgiving” – bypassing the official and authentic 1637 precedent – and assigned the dateless, murky event the fourth Thursday in November.
Lincoln surveyed a broken nation, and attempted nation-rebuilding, based on the purest white myth. The same year that he issued the Emancipation Proclamation, he renewed the national commitment to a white manifest destiny that began at Plymouth Rock. Lincoln sought to rekindle a shared national mission that former Confederates and Unionists and white immigrants from Europe could collectively embrace. It was and remains a barbaric and racist national unifier, by definition. Only the most fantastic lies can sanitize the history of the Plymouth Colony of Massachusetts.

”Like a rock”

The Thanksgiving holiday fable is at once a window on the way that many, if not most, white Americans view the world and their place in it, and a pollutant that leaches barbarism into the modern era. The fable attempts to glorify the indefensible, to enshrine an era and mission that represent the nation’s lowest moral denominators. Thanksgiving as framed in the mythology is, consequently, a drag on that which is potentially civilizing in the national character, a crippling, atavistic deformity. Defenders of the holiday will claim that the politically-corrected children’s version promotes brotherhood, but that is an impossibility – a bald excuse to prolong the worship of colonial “forefathers” and to erase the crimes they committed. Those bastards burned the Pequot women and children, and ushered in the multinational business of slavery. These are facts. The myth is an insidious diversion – and worse.
Humanity cannot tolerate a 21st Century superpower, much of whose population perceives the world through the eyes of 17th Century land and flesh bandits. Yet that is the trick that fate has played on the globe.

“Indians who had initially cooperated with the squatters were transmogrified into ‘savages’ deserving displacement and death.”
The English arrived with criminal intent - and brought wives and children to form new societies predicated on successful plunder. To justify the murderous enterprise, Indians who had initially cooperated with the squatters were transmogrified into "savages" deserving displacement and death. The relentlessly refreshed lie of Indian savagery became a truth in the minds of white Americans, a fact to be acted upon by every succeeding generation of whites. The settlers became a singular people confronting the great "frontier" - a euphemism for centuries of genocidal campaigns against a darker, "savage" people marked for extinction.
The necessity of genocide was the operative, working assumption of the expanding American nation. "Manifest Destiny" was born at Plymouth Rock and Jamestown, later to fall (to paraphrase Malcolm) like a rock on Mexico, the Philippines, Haiti, Nicaragua, etc. Little children were taught that the American project was inherently good, Godly, and that those who got in the way were "evil-doers" or just plain subhuman, to be gloriously eliminated. The lie is central to white American identity, embraced by waves of European settlers who never saw a red person.

Bloody Fruits of the First Feast
Only a century ago, American soldiers caused the deaths of possibly a million Filipinos whom they had been sent to “liberate” from Spanish rule. They didn’t even know who they were killing, and so rationalized their behavior by substituting the usual American victims. Colonel Funston, of the Twentieth Kansas Volunteers, explained what got him motivated in the Philippines:
"Our fighting blood was up and we all wanted to kill 'niggers.' This shooting human beings is a 'hot game,' and beats rabbit hunting all to pieces." Another wrote that "the boys go for the enemy as if they were chasing jack-rabbits .... I, for one, hope that Uncle Sam will apply the chastening rod, good, hard, and plenty, and lay it on until they come into the reservation and promise to be good 'Injuns.'"
In 2003, President George Bush addressed the Philippine Congress in Manila. “America is proud of its part in the great story of the Filipino people,” said Bush. “Together our soldiers liberated the Philippines from colonial rule.” Bush failed to mention what every Filipino knows: immediately upon the ouster of the Spanish, the U.S. claimed the Philippines as its own colony, causing the death of a million people – Colonel Funston’s “niggers” – in the process.
At least two million Vietnamese and untold numbers of Cambodian “gooks” died as a result of U.S. aggression, two generations ago. When noted at all, these hellish consequences were often dismissed on the grounds that “Asians don’t value life the way we do.” The truth, of course, is that most white Americans don’t value Asian or other non-white lives at all, and never have.
Today, although in excess of 600,000 Iraqis are thought to have died since the U.S. invasion, the national dialogue revolves solely around the less than 3,000 American dead. Colonel Joe Anderson of the 101st Airborne Division summed up the general American attitude toward Iraqis early in the occupation. "They don't understand being nice," said Anderson. "We spent so long here working with kid gloves, but the average Iraqi guy will tell you, 'The only thing people respect here is violence…. They only understand being shot at, being killed. That's the culture.' … Nice guys do finish last here."
Col. Anderson personifies the unfitness of Americans to play a major role in the world, much less rule it. "We poured a lot of our heart and soul into trying to help the people,” he bitched, as if Americans were God’s gift to the planet. "But it can be frustrating when you hear stupid people still saying, 'You're occupiers. You want our oil. You're turning our country over to Israel.'” He cannot fathom that other people – non-whites – aspire to run their own affairs, and will kill and die to achieve that basic right.
“The Mayflower’s cultural heirs are programmed to find glory in their own depravity, and savagery in their most helpless victims.”
What does this have to do with the Mayflower? Everything. Although possibly against their wishes, the Pilgrims hosted the Wampanoag for three no doubt anxious days. The same men killed and enslaved Wampanoags immediately before and after the feast. They, their newly arrived English comrades and their children roasted hundreds of neighboring Indians alive just 16 years later, and two generations afterwards cleared nearly the whole of New England of its indigenous “savages,” while enthusiastically enriching themselves through the invention of transoceanic, sophisticated means of enslaving millions. The Mayflower’s cultural heirs are programmed to find glory in their own depravity, and savagery in their most helpless victims, who can only redeem themselves by accepting the inherent goodness of white Americans.
Thanksgiving encourages these cognitive cripples in their madness, just as it is designed to do.In Iraq, as in the Philippines, as in U.S. occupied Haiti in 1914, we hear echoes of the words of Massachusetts Bay colony founder John Winthrop. The English had come to expropriate native land and resources, but somehow convinced themselves that their presence was benign. “So as God hath thereby cleared our title to this place, those who remain in these parts…have put themselves under our protection," said the Pilgrim-in-Chief.Throughout the Middle East and in spreading regions of the globe, the U.S. invites the natives to a “feast” of “democracy” – at the point of a gun. Frustrated at native unwillingness to dine on the corpses of their own national sovereignty, the Americans threaten to punish those who demonstrate such “unthankfulness.”
In these times, we should remember the unthankful Pequot women and children roasting in the flames of their village, and the Wampanoag man, murdered by the Pilgrim saint Miles Standish, whose spiked head was displayed for years in Plymouth, the founding site of the national narrative and celebratory feast.
Things are looking up
We began this essay by saying that “the day grows nearer when the almost four centuries-old abomination [Thanksgiving] will be deprived of its reason for being: white supremacy.” We firmly believe this. The wired world works against the Bush men’s insane leap to global hegemony, while creating the material basis for (dare we say the words) brother- and sisterhood among humankind. It becomes clear that the fruits of millennia of human genius cannot be captured and packaged for the enrichment of a few for much longer – and certainly not by a cabal that cannot see beyond the bubble of its own, warped history. The dim outlines of a new and more democratic world order can be seen in the often tentative, but sometimes dramatic actions of movements and nations determined to construct a fairer way to live. As the world witnesses the brutality, stupidity and sheer incompetence of the Pirates currently at the helm of the United States, the urgency of a common, alternative human project becomes apparent to all. The “end of history” that the Bush men triumphantly announced is really the end of them, through a process they have accelerated with every deranged action and delusional strategy they have undertaken since 2001.
They are like men in quicksand. White racism as a global scourge will sink with them, and eventually whither to a mere prejudice rather than a world-threatening menace.
When that day comes, it will at last be time for a global Thanksgiving.

WHO IS ADVISING PRESIDENT OBAMA ON HIS AFGHANISTAN WAR STRATEGY ? LBJ LiSTENED TO HIS GENERALS AND WHAT WHERE THE RESULTS ?

BLACK BUZZ NEWS
November 24,2009
Gettysburg, Pa.

President Barack Hussein Obama, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, had 580,000 troops on the ground in Viet Nam, and that wasn't enough, and we should not have been there in the first place. But the U.S. like all colonial( White Nations) couldn't stomach the terrible defeat that the great white nation of France had taken at Dien Bien Phu from the indigenous forces led by the Ho Chi Minh. France was in Vietnam because of its niggardly greed coupled with its white supremacist mentality which was designed to control the populace solely for the purpose exploiting the Natives resources such as tin and rubber, and Ho said hell no.
So the U.S. led by JFK, decided to take up the white nation of France's burden, and thus we had the U.S. continuing a pattern and practice of colonial aggression on the Countries in Asia. The Soviets did the same thing in Afghanistan, and throughout the old Iron Curtain belt.
Mr. Obama the local forces in Afghanistan nor Vietnam never carried their weight, and in all honesty they were, and are trained to follow U.S. forces, and they are incapable of thinking out their own actions. The Afghans are totally dependent on the USAF, Marines and Army. The Afghans will never get 580,000 troops to assist them from the U.S./NATO.
Six countries of NATO will pull out in 2011,including Canada.
The U.S. and allies will never defeat either of their foes in Iraq, or Afghanistan, because we simply to do not have enough military personnel to adequately to the job or complete the mission in those respective countries. Mr. Obama the best thing we can do in Afghanistan is a holding action with some kind of weak peace treaty, as we did in Viet Nam.
And we really need to stay out of the internal affairs of other countries except when there is a clear and present danger at stake to our internal and national security, and all this nation building non-sense to keep propped up the most corrupt Narco Government in Asia( Hamid Karzai) should cease.
President Obama any decision that you make relative to any U.S. additional troop deployment to your war in Afghanistan will be the wrong one. This is a no win situation for you Mr. President, and this is probably why it has taken you so long to make a decision that you know in your heart will be an error.
President Obama has a very difficult decision to make on committing further U.S.troops ,and how does Obama balance the political fall out of sending more troops with not totally complying with the requests of the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO,the jingoistic McCrystal.
Barack probably still wishes that he was still on the campaign trail rather than sitting in the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. as President of the United States.. You have to be extremely mentally tough, and exceptionally bright to be President of the United States of America. Obama's predecessor George W. Bush raised the bar considerably, and I don't know if anyone will ever be able to reach said bar.

President Obama,The Soviets Left Over 500,000 Land Mines In Afghanistan: Who's Going To Clear Them ?

BLACK BUZZ NEWS
November 24,2009
Wounded Knee, South Dakota

As President Barack Obama ponders what decision he will make on sending additional U.S.troops to Afghanistan, I asked Mr. Obama who is going to clear the over 500,000 land mines, that were left by the Soviets,
and how many more Americans will die in the process of clearing those mines ? The Soviets said their Bear Bombers could hold 5,000 land mines per aircraft, and they flew over 100 missions in Afghanistan. The U.N. says over 30% of Afghanistan is covered my mines.(Obama's Afghan War)
Mr. President did your top/key adviser's tell you that the U.S. furnished the Afghans with stingers to shoot down the Soviets aircraft, and without those stingers the Afghans would still be fighting the bear ? Did your adviser's also tell you Mr. President that the Soviets killed over one million Afghans, but they still(Soviets) went back to the Soviet Union with their tales waggling from behind.
Filthy rich anti- American Saudies furnished the Taliban weapons, and provide logistical support in their past and present fighting. So Mr. President what are you doing about that Saudi financial support ?
Mr. Obama's future political career is tied to War in Afghanistan, and how well his misguided economic Stimulus works in Mid-America and throughout the United States.

President Obama's Trip To China Was A Complete Failure

BLACK BUZZ NEWS
November 23,2009
Durham, North Carolina

Other than getting a free sightseeing tour costing the American taxpayers hundreds of Million dollars, what did President Obama accomplish going to China ?
Barack Obama can take pride in the fact that he is the most traveled President in American history, for his first eleven months in office.
But what has Obama done for the people on Main Street, or in the heartland of Appalachia, or in our rotten decayed inner cities, which in most cases resemble bombed out war torn battle zones ?
One has to wonder why this so-called Ivy League graduate didn't have enough political smarts to convene a comprehensive type of real Job summit before he, and his duplicitous colleagues in both parties enacted that farce called the Economic Stimulus Package.
What he really needs to do is purge his administration of all those inept folks from Chicago, and the Ivy League schools, particularly Harvard, and Yale, and bring bring in some real politically savvy and bright people from the University of Virginia, Duke, Harvey Mudd, Rice, Washington University in St. Louis, and Stanford.
Geithner, and Sumner must go with all those other incompetent Clinton retreads and castoffs. And how did going to China, help with our sky high unemployment rate, and with the creation of good paying American jobs ?

First Genocide, Then Lie About It

Why I Hate Thanksgiving

By MITCHEL COHEN

With much material contributed by Peter Linebaugh and others whose names have over the years been lost.--MC

The year was 1492. The Taino-Arawak people of the Bahamas discovered Christopher Columbus on their beach.

Historian Howard Zinn tells us how Arawak men and women, naked, tawny, and full of wonder, emerged from their villages onto the island's beaches and swam out to get a closer look at the strange big boat. When Columbus and his sailors came ashore, carrying swords, speaking oddly, the Arawaks ran to greet them, brought them food, water, gifts. Columbus later wrote of this in his log. Here is what he wrote:
"They brought us parrots and balls of cotton and spears and many other things, which they exchanged for the glass beads and hawks' bells. They willingly traded everything they owned. They were well-built, with good bodies and handsome features. They do not bear arms, and do not know them, for I showed them a sword, they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. They have no iron. Their spears are made of sugar cane. They would make fine servants. With 50 men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want."

And so the conquest began, and the Thanotocracy -- the regime of death -- was inaugurated on the continent the Indians called "Turtle Island."

You probably already know a good piece of the story: How Columbus's Army took Arawak and Taino people prisoners and insisted that they take him to the source of their gold, which they used in tiny ornaments in their ears. And how, with utter contempt and cruelty, Columbus took many more Indians prisoners and put them aboard the Nina and the Pinta -- the Santa Maria having run aground on the island of Hispañola (today, the Dominican Republic and Haiti). When some refused to be taken prisoner, they were run through with swords and bled to death. Then the Nina and the Pinta set sail for the Azores and Spain. During the long voyage, many of the Indian prisoners died. Here's part of Columbus's report to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain:
"The Indians are so naive and so free with their possessions that no one who has not witnessed them would believe it. When you ask for something they have, they never say no. To the contrary, they offer to share with anyone." Columbus concluded his report by asking for a little help from the King and Queen, and in return he would bring them "as much gold as they need, and as many slaves as they ask."

Columbus returned to the New World -- "new" for Europeans, that is -- with 17 ships and more than 1,200 men. Their aim was clear: Slaves, and gold. They went from island to island in the Caribbean, taking Indians as captives. But word spread ahead of them. By the time they got to Fort Navidad on Haiti, the Taino had risen up and killed all the sailors left behind on the last voyage, after they had roamed the island in gangs raping women and taking children and women as slaves. Columbus later wrote: "Let us in the name of the Holy Trinity go on sending all the slaves that can be sold." The Indians began fighting back, but were no match for the Spaniard conquerors, even though they greatly outnumbered them. In eight years, Columbus's men murdered more than 100,000 Indians on Haiti alone. Overall, dying as slaves in the mines, or directly murdered, or from diseases brought to the Caribbean by the Spaniards, over 3 million Indian people were murdered between 1494 and 1508.

What Columbus did to the Arawaks of the Bahamas and the Taino of the Caribbean, Cortez did to the Aztecs of Mexico, Pizarro to the Incas of Peru, and the English settlers of Virginia and Massachusetts to the Powhatans and the Pequots. Literally millions of native peoples were slaughtered. And the gold, slaves and other resources were used, in Europe, to spur the growth of the new money economy rising out of feudalism. Karl Marx would later call this "the primitive accumulation of capital." These were the violent beginnings of an intricate system of technology, business, politics and culture that would dominate the world for the next five centuries.

All of this were the preconditions for the first Thanksgiving. In the North American English colonies, the pattern was set early, as Columbus had set it in the islands of the Bahamas. In 1585, before there was any permanent English settlement in Virginia, Richard Grenville landed there with seven ships. The Indians he met were hospitable, but when one of them stole a small silver cup, Grenville sacked and burned the whole Indian village.

The Jamestown colony was established in Virginia in 1607, inside the territory of an Indian confederacy, led by the chief, Powhatan. Powhatan watched the English settle on his people's land, but did not attack. And the English began starving. Some of them ran away and joined the Indians, where they would at least be fed. Indeed, throughout colonial times tens of thousands of indentured servants, prisoners and slaves -- from Wales and Scotland as well as from Africa -- ran away to live in Indian communities, intermarry, and raise their children there.

In the summer of 1610 the governor of Jamestown colony asked Powhatan to return the runaways, who were living fully among the Indians. Powhatan left the choice to those who ran away, and none wanted to go back. The governor of Jamestown then sent soldiers to take revenge. They descended on an Indian community, killed 15 or 16 Indians, burned the houses, cut down the corn growing around the village, took the female leader of the tribe and her children into boats, then ended up throwing the children overboard and shooting out their brains in the water. The female leader was later taken off the boat and stabbed to death.

By 1621, the atrocities committed by the English had grown, and word spread throughout the Indian villages. The Indians fought back, and killed 347 colonists. From then on it was total war. Not able to enslave the Indians the English aristocracy decided to exterminate them.

And then the Pilgrims arrived.
When the Pilgrims came to New England they too were coming not to vacant land but to territory inhabited by tribes of Indians. The story goes that the Pilgrims, who were Christians of the Puritan sect, were fleeing religious persecution in Europe. They had fled England and went to Holland, and from there sailed aboard the Mayflower, where they landed at Plymouth Rock in what is now Massachusetts.

Religious persecution or not, they immediately turned to their religion to rationalize their persecution of others. They appealed to the Bible, Psalms 2:8: "Ask of me, and I shall give thee, the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." To justify their use of force to take the land, they cited Romans 13:2: "Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation."

The Puritans lived in uneasy truce with the Pequot Indians, who occupied what is now southern Connecticut and Rhode Island. But they wanted them out of the way; they wanted their land. And they seemed to want to establish their rule firmly over Connecticut settlers in that area.

In 1636 an armed expedition left Boston to attack the Narragansett Indians on Block Island. The English landed and killed some Indians, but the rest hid in the thick forests of the island and the English went from one deserted village to the next, destroying crops. Then they sailed back to the mainland and raided Pequot villages along the coast, destroying crops again.

The English went on setting fire to wigwams of the village. They burned village after village to the ground. As one of the leading theologians of his day, Dr. Cotton Mather put it: "It was supposed that no less than 600 Pequot souls were brought down to hell that day." And Cotton Mather, clutching his bible, spurred the English to slaughter more Indians in the name of Christianity.

Three hundred thousand Indians were murdered in New England over the next few years. It is important to note: The ordinary Englishmen did not want this war and often, very often, refused to fight. Some European intellectuals like Roger Williams spoke out against it. And some erstwhile colonists joined the Indians and even took up arms against the invaders from England. It was the Puritan elite who wanted the war, a war for land, for gold, for power. And, in the end, the Indian population of 10 million that was in North America when Columbus came was reduced to less than one million.

The way the different Indian peoples lived -- communally, consensually, making decisions through tribal councils, each tribe having different sexual/marriage relationships, where many different sexualities were practiced as the norm -- contrasted dramatically with the Puritan's Christian fundamentalist values. For the Puritans, men decided everything, whereas in the Iroquois federation of what is now New York state women chose the men who represented the clans at village and tribal councils; it was the women who were responsible for deciding on whether or not to go to war. The Christian idea of male dominance and female subordination was conspicuously absent in Iroquois society.

There were many other cultural differences: The Iroquois did not use harsh punishment on children. They did not insist on early weaning or early toilet training, but gradually allowed the child to learn to care for themselves. And, they did not believe in ownership of land; they utilized the land, lived on it. The idea of ownership was ridiculous, absurd. The European Christians, on the other hand, in the spirit of the emerging capitalism, wanted to own and control everything -- even children and other human beings. The pastor of the Pilgrim colony, John Robinson, thus advised his parishioners: "And surely there is in all children a stubbornness, and stoutness of mind arising from natural pride, which must, in the first place, be broken and beaten down; that so the foundation of their education being laid in humility and tractableness, other virtues may, in their time, be built thereon." That idea sunk in.

One colonist said that the plague that had destroyed the Patuxet people -- a combination of slavery, murder by the colonists and disease -- was "the Wonderful Preparation of the Lord Jesus Christ by His Providence for His People's Abode in the Western World." The Pilgrims robbed Wampanoag graves for the food that had been buried with the dead for religious reasons. Whenever the Pilgrims realized they were being watched, they shot at the Wampanoags, and scalped them. Scalping had been unknown among Native Americans in New England prior to its introduction by the English, who began the practice by offering the heads of their enemies and later accepted scalps.

"What do you think of Western Civilization?" Mahatma Gandhi was asked in the 1940s. To which Gandhi replied: "Western Civilization? I think it would be a good idea." And so enters "Civilization," the civilization of Christian Europe, a "civilizing force" that couldn't have been more threatened by the beautiful anarchy of the Indians they encountered, and so slaughtered them.

These are the Puritans that the Indians "saved", and whom we celebrate in the holiday, Thanksgiving. Tisquantum, also known as Squanto, a member of the Patuxet Indian nation. Samoset, of the Wabonake Indian nation, which lived in Maine. They went to Puritan villages and, having learned to speak English, brought deer meat and beaver skins for the hungry, cold Pilgrims. Tisquantum stayed with them and helped them survive their first years in their New World. He taught them how to navigate the waters, fish and cultivate corn and other vegetables. He pointed out poisonous plants and showed how other plants could be used as medicines. He also negotiated a peace treaty between the Pilgrims and Massasoit, head chief of the Wampanoags, a treaty that gave the Pilgrims everything and the Indians nothing. And even that treaty was soon broken. All this is celebrated as the First Thanksgiving.

My own feeling? The Indians should have let the Pilgrims die. But they couldn't do that. Their humanity made them assist other human beings in need. And for that beautiful, human, loving connection they -- and those of us who are not Indian as well -- paid a terrible price: The genocide of the original inhabitants of Turtle Island, what is now America.

Let's look at one example of the Puritan values -- which were not, I repeat, the values of the English working class values that we "give thanks for" on this holiday. The example of the Maypole, and Mayday.

In 1517, 25 years after Columbus first landed in the Bahamas, the English working class staged a huge revolt. This was done through the guilds. King Henry VIII brought Lombard bankers from Italy and merchants from France in order to undercut wages, lengthen hours, and break the guilds. This alliance between international finance, national capital and military aristocracy was in the process of merging into the imperialist nation-state.

The young workers of London took their revenge upon the merchants. A secret rumor said the commonality -- the vision of communal society that would counter the rich, the merchants, the industrialists, the nobility and the landowners -- would arise on May Day. The King and Lords got frightened -- householders were armed, a curfew was declared. Two guys didn't hear about the curfew (they missed Dan Rather on t.v.). They were arrested. The shout went out to mobilize, and 700 workers stormed the jails, throwing bricks, hot water, stones. The prisoners were freed. A French capitalist's house was trashed.

Then came the repression: Cannons were fired into the city. Three hundred were imprisoned, soldiers patrolled the streets, and a proclamation was made that no women were allowed to meet together, and that all men should "keep their wives in their houses." The prisoners were brought through the streets tied in ropes. Some were children. Eleven sets of gallows were set up throughout the city. Many were hanged. The authorities showed no mercy, but exhibited extreme cruelty.

Thus the dreaded Thanatocracy, the regime of death, was inaugurated in answer to proletarian riot at the beginning of capitalism. The May Day riots were caused by expropriation (people having been uprooted from their lands they had used for centuries in common), and by exploitation (people had no jobs, as the monarchy imported capital). Working class women organizers and healers who posed an alternative to patriarchal capitalism -- were burned at the stake as witches. Enclosure, conquest, famine, war and plague ravaged the people who, in losing their commons, also lost a place to put their Maypole.

Suddenly, the Maypole became a symbol of rebellion. In 1550 Parliament ordered the destruction of Maypoles (just as, during the Vietnam war, the U.S.-backed junta in Saigon banned the making of all red cloth, as it was being sewn into the blue, yellow and red flags of the National Liberation Front).

In 1664, near the end of the Puritans' war against the Pequot Indians, the Puritans in England abolished May Day altogether. They had defeated the Indians, and they were attempting to defeat the growing proletarian insurgency at home as well.

Although translators of the Bible were burned, its last book, Revelation, became an anti-authoritarian manual useful to those who would turn the Puritan world upside down, such as the Family of Love, the Anabaptists, the Diggers, Levellers, Ranters, and Thomas Morton, the man who in 1626 went to Merry Mount in Quincy Mass, and with his Indian friends put up the first Maypole in America, in contempt of Puritan rule.

The Puritans destroyed it, exiled him, plagued the Indians, and hanged gay people and Quakers. Morton had come over on his own, a boat person, an immigrant. So was Anna Lee, who came over a few years later, the Manchester proletarian who founded the communal living, gender separated Shakers, who praised God in ecstatic dance, and who drove the Puritans up the wall.

The story of the Maypole as a symbol of revolt continued. It crossed cultures and continued through the ages. In the late 1800s, the Sioux began the Ghost Dance in a circle, "with a large pine tree in the center, which was covered with strips of cloth of various colors, eagle feathers, stuffed birds, claws, and horns, all offerings to the Great Spirit." They didn't call it a Maypole and they danced for the unity of all Indians, the return of the dead, and the expulsion of the invaders on a particular day, the 4th of July, but otherwise it might as well have been a Mayday!

Wovoka, a Nevada Paiute, started it. Expropriated, he cut his hair. To buy watermelon he rode boxcars to work in the Oregon hop fields for small wages, exploited. The Puget Sound Indians had a new religion -- they stopped drinking alcohol, became entranced, and danced for five days, jerking twitching, calling for their land back, just like the Shakers! Wovoka took this back to Nevada: "All Indians must dance, everywhere, keep on dancing." Soon they were. Porcupine took the dance across the Rockies to the Sioux. Red Cloud and Sitting Bull advanced the left foot following with the right, hardly lifting the feet from the ground. The Federal Agents banned the Ghost Dance! They claimed it was a cause of the last Sioux outbreak, just as the Puritans had claimed the Maypole had caused the May Day proletarian riots, just as the Shakers were dancing people into communality and out of Puritanism.

On December 29 1890 the Government (with Hotchkiss guns throwing 2 pound explosive shells at 50 a minute -- always developing new weapons!) massacred more than 300 men, women and children at Wounded Knee. As in the Waco holocaust, or the bombing of MOVE in Philadelphia, the State disclaimed responsibility. The Bureau of Ethnology sent out James Mooney to investigate. Amid Janet Reno-like tears, he wrote: "The Indians were responsible for the engagement."

In 1970, the town of Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts held, as it does each year, a Thanksgiving Ceremony given by the townspeople. There are many speeches for the crowds who attend. That year -- the year of Nixon's secret invasion of Cambodia; the year 4 students were massacred at Kent State and 13 wounded for opposing the war; the year they tried to electrocute Black Panthers Bobby Seale and Erica Huggins -- the Massachusetts Department of Commerce asked the Wampanoag Indians to select a speaker to mark the 350th anniversary of the Pilgrims' arrival, and the first Thanksgiving.

Frank James, who is a Wampanoag, was selected. But before he was allowed to speak he was told to show a copy of his speech to the white people in charge of the ceremony. When they saw what he had written, they would not allow him to read it.

First, the genocide. Then, the suppression of all discussion about it.

What do Indian people find to be Thankful for in this America? What does anyone have to be Thankful for in the genocide of the Indians, that this "holyday" commemorates? As we sit with our families on Thanksgiving, taking any opportunity we can to get out of work or off the streets and be in a warm place with people we love, we realize that all the things we have to be thankful for have nothing at all to do with the Pilgrims, nothing at all to do with Amerikan history, and everything to do with the alternative, anarcho-communist lives the Indian peoples led, before they were massacred by the colonists, in the name of privatization of property and the lust for gold and labor.

Yes, I am an American. But I am an American in revolt. I am revolted by the holiday known as Thanksgiving. I have been accused of wanting to go backwards in time, of being against progress. To those charges, I plead guilty. I want to go back in time to when people lived communally, before the colonists' Christian god was brought to these shores to sanctify their terrorism, their slavery, their hatred of children, their oppression of women, their holocausts. But that is impossible. So all I look forward to the utter destruction of the apparatus of death known as Amerika -- not the people, not the beautiful land, but the machinery, the State, the capitalism, the Christianity and all that it stands for. I look forward to a future where I will have children with Amerika, and they will be the new Indians.

In memorium. Lest we forget. The First Thanksgiving

From the Community Endeavor News, November, 1995, as reprinted in Healing Global Wounds, Fall, 1996

The first official Thanksgiving wasn't a festive gathering of Indians and Pilgrims, but rather a celebration of the massacre of 700 Pequot men, women and children, an anthropologist says. Due to age and illness his voice cracks as he talks about the holiday, but William B. Newell, 84, talks with force as he discusses Thanksgiving. Newell, a Penobscot, has degrees from two universities, and was the former chairman of the anthropology department at the University of Connecticut.

"Thanksgiving Day was first officially proclaimed by the Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1637 to commemorate the massacre of 700 men, women and children who were celebrating their annual green corn dance-Thanksgiving Day to them-in their own house," Newell said.

"Gathered in this place of meeting they were attacked by mercenaries and Dutch and English. The Indians were ordered from the building and as they came forth they were shot down. The rest were burned alive in the building," he said.

Newell based his research on studies of Holland Documents and the 13 volume Colonial Documentary History, both thick sets of letters and reports from colonial officials to their superiors and the king in England, and the private papers of Sir William Johnson, British Indian agent for the New York colony for 30 years in the mid-1600s.

"My research is authentic because it is documentary," Newell said. "You can't get anything more accurate than that because it is first hand. It is not hearsay."

Newell said the next 100 Thanksgivings commemorated the killing of the Indians at what is now Groton, Ct. [home of a nuclear submarine base] rather than a celebration with them. He said the image of Indians and Pilgrims sitting around a large table to celebrate Thanksgiving Day was "fictitious" although Indians did share food with the first settlers.

The Buckeyes best offense today in Ann Arbor, was its defense as the men from Columbus beat the pathetic Wolverines of Michigan 21-10.
Terrell Pryor didn't do anything spectacular, but manged the game effectively, but Mr. Pryor better improve in all phases of his game, or he maybe riding the bench next year. Hey coach Rodriguez the grass aint always greener on the other side. Coach Rodriguez has four more years to turn around the Michigan program, but will the Wolverine Nation wait that long for coach Rodriguez to turn that historic program around ?
Next year promises to to be a break out year for Rodriguez as many of his recruits will have come of age. Hail to What ?

University Of Georgia Bulldog Mascot,Uga Vll Dies : Uga VII Is The Country's Number One Mascot,Who Has Been On The Cover Of Newsweek , andTime.

BLACK BUZZ SPORTS NEWS
Nov.20,2009
Bulldog Nation,USA.

The entire Bulldog Nation mourns the lost of Uga VII,and it is my hope that the Dawgs will dedicate the remainder of the football season to Uga VII,the bright, intelligent and well behaved white English bulldog mascot.
Uga VII is the country's most famous mascot who has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated,Newsweek, and Time magazine.
According to Greg Bluestein of the AP--Uga VII, the white English bulldog for the University of Georgia's football team for almost two seasons, died Thursday November 19, of heart related causes, the dog's owner said.
Bluestein further reports that the 56-pound,nicknamed "Loran's Best " was known as a laid-back mascot who seemed oblivious to crowd noise during boisterous games and would sit patiently as excited fans snapped photos of him.Bluestein says Uga VII very often roamed the sidelines in a shirt with a 'G' stitched on it,sometimes resting on a bag of ice to cool off in his customized dog house.
Unfortunately, Bluestein stated that UGA said there would be no mascot at Saturday's game in Athens against Southeastern Conference rival Kentucky, but that a wreath will be laid on his doghouse on the field's sidelines.Sonny Seiler, the dog's owner, said he likely wouldn't name a replacement until next year. "We are in a state of shock," Seiler said in a News Release issued by UGA. "We had no warning whatsoever.
The 4-year old dog made his debut as the mascot in August 2008 after his father, Uga VI died of congestive heart failure. He had big paws to fill-Uga VI was the school's winningest mascot, racking up a 87-27 record, seven wins in nine bowl appearances and a pair of Southeastern Conferences championships. But Seiler said the dog distinguished himself in his own way.
Our hearts and prayers are with Uga VII, and his family, and the entire Bulldog Nation. It is my hope that the next Uga VIII will lead the Dawgs to a National Championship or Championships in the coming years.
In honor of Uga VII, the Dawgs will trounce the heavily favored Wreck from Georgia Tech. Ealey will have his break out game against that other team in Georgia, the Rambling Wreck from Georgia Tech.

Indoctrination Through Celebration

by Solomon Comissiong

“The conversion of holidays could go far in ushering militarism and imperialism into the dustbin of American history and culture.”
US society is immersed in contradictions. However, subliminal indoctrination tends to mask even the most glaring of these contradictions, especially those involving race. Americans seem trained not to see that which is right in front of their eyes, or to distinguish truth from the most base propaganda.
Contradiction-laden holidays figure heavily in the national propaganda. Columbus Day, for example, is drenched in white supremacist ideals. Columbus continues to be virtually canonized in some U.S. circles, despite the ample historical record of the “Discoverer's” crimes of mass murder, rape, kidnapping, mutilation, torture and general depravity. Clearly, Columbus Day would not exist in a moral society, yet many Americans think of themselves as situated at or near the moral center of the planet.
As an antidote to and replacement for Columbus, I submit Chief Sitting Bull. The great Lakota leader led thousands of warriors to defeat U.S. General George Custer, another bloodthirsty character that should be banished from the pantheon of American heroes. Sitting Bull Day would celebrate the glorious, albeit temporary, victory of Native Americans over the encroachments of white thuggery.
Racism has enshrined white supremacists as national role models. At a nearly subconscious level, the masses are indoctrinated to look with awe on some of the foulest examples of humanity ever assembled: slaveholders, Indian-killers, Confederates, segregators, land pirates, war criminals and exploiters of all pathologies imaginable.
“Columbus Day would not exist in a moral society.”
The indoctrination is reinforced through naming rituals. The names of villains are splattered everywhere, physically and symbolically. Government buildings, schools, towns, streets and, yes, even holidays are transformed into billboards – even shrines – for what moral societies would recognize as unspeakable evil.
Money may or may not be the root of all evil, but U.S. currency is decorated with the faces of irredeemably evil men, guilty of enslaving other men. George Washington, of $1 fame, owned over 300 African slaves, and the proudly racist Andrew Jackson initiated brutal wars against Seminoles, helped pass the Indian Removal Act of 1830, and appointed Roger Taney to the U.S. Supreme Court, who ruled against Dred Scott and believed Blacks had no rights that a white man was bound to respect. Jackson's record of evil is longer and arguably more damnable than Washington's, which may account in some perverse American way for Jackson's bill being worth twenty times as much as Washington's.
“The masses are indoctrinated to look with awe on some of the foulest examples of humanity ever assembled.”
Even the so-called “Great Emancipator,” Abraham Lincoln, had an incredibly low opinion of blacks. Lincoln once said:
“He (Fredrick Douglas) shall have no occasion to ever ask it again, for I tell him very frankly that I am not in favor of Negro citizenship.... I will say then, that I am not nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way, the social and political equality of the white and black races -- that I am not, nor have ever been in favor of making voters of the Negroes, or jurors, or qualifying them to hold office, or having them marry with white people. I will say in addition that there is a physical difference between the white and black races, which I suppose will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality and inasmuch as they cannot so live, that while they do remain together, there must be the position of superior and inferior that I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white man...”
As an Emancipator, Lincoln is clearly overrated, and should be relegated to something more obscure than the popular $5 bill. Had it not been for the “Great Agitator” Frederick Douglass and his fellow abolitionists, Lincoln would not have freed anyone at all. A just and egalitarian society would surely place Frederick Douglass' noble visage on the $5 bill, in celebration of his militancy for freedom.
The ultimate heroes are those that gave their lives for the freedom of others. Historical giants like Nat Turner, Gabriel Prosser, Denmark Vesey, and the Africans that participated in the Stono Rebellion should be honored with national holidays.
“A just and egalitarian society would surely place Frederick Douglass' noble visage on the $5 bill.”
The conversion of holidays could go far in ushering militarism and imperialism into the dustbin of American history and culture. Veterans Day, as currently celebrated, would be among the first to go. All too often Veteran’s Day is used as a tool to indoctrinate the masses with war mongering values such as those that led to wars like Vietnam. It should be replaced by Peace Day, when society would honor those who became political dissenters against unjust wars of aggression and imperialism.
As we said at the outset, America is a fundamentally flawed and contradicted country, where the populace is force-fed a diet of symbolic and iconic evil. It may take generations to cleanse such a society of the grime and gore of centuries. Aluta Continua…

BUZZ TALK
* How about those fearless Georgia Bulldogs, beating those nasty Tigers from Auburn. And why is Charlie Weis still employed at Notre Dame after taking such a behind kicking from the charging Pitt Panthers ?
And what about Pitt's Dion Lewis running over that Irish linebacker, and Dion reminds me of a miniature version of the great Earl Campbell, minus Campbell's blazing speed. Run Dion Run !
Grandfather Jo Pa, was lucky to escape with a victory against the Indiana Hoosiers, but this week the Spartans will make Jo Pa, wish that he had retired. And what about those Ohio State Buckeyes beating the big, and slow Iowa Hawkeyes ? Go Terrell !
The men of Troy, are playing football like the Pittsburgh Pirates play baseball. I have told high school recruits to avoid going to WVU, at all cost until they afford African American coaching candidates true Equal Employment Opportunities.

TCU maybe the best team in the country, but we will never know because those arch conservative neo -con college Presidents, refused to come with a bona-fide playoff system, so we are stuck with every game being a playoff.
Thus the crowing of the National Champion in NCAA Division 1-A football is bogus to say the least.
Who will be able to stop the Oregon Ducks, now that they have reinstated LeGarrette Blount , and the Ducks have another thousand yard runner in freshmen, La Michael James.Has anyone heard of the famous Jesse James, well this La Michael James runs faster on foot than Jesse James did on horseback running away from lawmen.

I don't believe all world Tim Tebow is 100 per cent ,but let's hope that Tim and his Florida Gators will be up to the task of stopping Bam.
I just feel that Bam may slay those Gators ,and I wouldn't bet against Bam.

What is going on down in Charlottesville Virginia, with those up and down again Virginia Cavaliers ? Coach Groh, how did you loose the top quarterback recruit in the state of Virginia to the likes of the University of Alabama ?

This is a down year for SEC football, and look for the Stanford Cardinals to put a hurt on one of those SEC teams in a Bowl game. Those Stanford Cardinals are for real and Toby Gerhart runs like he wants to play on Sunday for about ten or more years. Gerhart is already a very good college running back, and if he works hard he will be a number one draft choice.
I like Gerhart's work ethic and true grit.

To Dick Cheney & MSNBC'S Resident Racist Pat Buchanan:Black Hero at Bunker Hill

BLACK BUZZ NEWS
SPECIAL REPORT
NOVEMBER 18,2009

Black Hero at Bunker Hill
For exceptional bravery shown by Salem Poor in the fighting at Breed's and at Bunker Hill, the following petition was presented to the Massachusetts General Court and signed by 14 patriot officers :
A Negro called SALEM POOR,of Colonel Frye's Regiment,Captain Ames' Company,in the late Battle at Charlestown, behaved like an experienced officer,as well as an excellent soldier.
It would be tedious to go into detail concerning his conduct. We only beg leave to say,in the person of this said negro centers a BRAVE and GALLANT soldier. The reward due to so great and distinguished a character,we submit to Congress ^ 5 December 1775
Ed. note : Salem Poor is presently enduring a rugged winter with patriot forces at Valley Forge,Pennsylvania.

To the Sunshine Patriot Dick Cheney, what did you do when a countless number of men risked there lives fighting for their country in Vietnam ?
To Pat, the hard nose bigot Buchanan, you have had over three hundred fifty years of preferential affirmative action called White skin privilege, and your ancestors walked into the land of "Milk and Honey" which was already built upon the blood, sweat and tears of Africans living in America, coupled with the brutal hijacking and theft of Native lands.
Mr. Buchanan, it is equally true that no people have ever won as much as Americans of European extraction in their annihilation of the indigenous Native tribes, and the enslavement of the Black Africans who built the USA. Pat,your prize : The second richest continent on Earth, and all the FREE LABOR that could be ferried across the Atlantic and all the FREE STOLEN land from Greenland to Argentina. Thus Pat, people like you got the prize of writing the history of this fraudulent hypocritical grand conquest of other human beings masked as Manifest Destiny-God's Will.
Indeed Pat, history is always written by the victors, and heeled by the vanquished. Pat every racist, and bigot has the potential of becoming a human being, and you ,and others of the same ilk need to review and have a critical critique of the movie titled "Little Big Man". Pat you behave just like the savage in the movie "Little Big Man".

IS YOUR CHILD EATING HIGH SUGAR CEREAL?

BLACK BUZZ NEWS
NOV.17,2009
Rocky Mount,North Carolina

* A new study from Yale University has found that cereals heavily marketed to children have 85% more sugar,65% less fiber and 60% more sodium than those aimed at adults.
* They also found that children that consumed higher sugar cereals more likely to consume higher volumes of cereal than those that consume lower sugar cereals.
*Among the worst: Reese's Puffs, Corn Pops, Lucky Charms,Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cap'n Crunch, Trix, Fruit Loops,Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles, and Cookie Crisp.
* Among the best: Kashi 7 Whole Grains Puffs and GoLean, Post Shredded Wheat Original and Wheat N' Bran, Kellogg's Mini Wheat's,and General Mills Fiber One.
*So what can you do ? Instead of feeding your child sweet, fruity cereals, try giving them a lower sugar cereal ( like the ones listed above )topped with fresh fruit and,if necessary,a very small sprinkling of sugar.

My late Mother always said in order to be the best athlete in any sport that one had to eat better quality healthy foods than your opponents, train harder and practice like there's no tomorrow and good things will happen on the track, field , court , and in the pool. One must eat like a champion, think like a winner or champion, train hard like a champion, practice like a champion, act like a winner on and off the field, and foremost play and perform like a winner/champion at all times.

Blogger Black buzz used the following menu prepared by his mother in training for Swimming,Football,Soccer,Basketball, Track and Baseball.
BREAKFAST : Pineapple, or Orange juice,large glass,preferably fresh;
Cup/Bowl of natural Wheat Germ cereal, with Goat's milk,
Poached egg on whole wheat toast, and fresh home made
Yogurt was eaten at every meal mixed with Black Strap Molasses.
Cantaloupe sprinkled with Paul Bragg wheat germ, and
honey. My mother purchased a whole host of Bragg Health
Food products from Bakersfield, California.
1 vitamin A &D capsule, 1 vitamin E capsule (30 milligrams
and 2 mineral tablets containing calcium, phosphorus and
a trace of iodine. Raw sea weed was always present along
with kelp. We used Kelp most of the time in place of the
salt. When I broke the record in the 100 yard dash in the
State of Maine in 1962 I was drinking a half cup of liquid
wheat germ oil a day. My mother purchased this wheat germ
from the Lackzoom store, located in downtown Pittsbrugh Pa, and we also purchased our specially cured beef bacon from the
the Cutaway Market in Butler, Pa.
I hated eating those one minute eggs over that wheat toast ,but it
was good for your body.
LUNCH:Grilled cheese sandwich on wheat germ bread
One glass of yogurt or buttermilk, fresh salad along with fresh fruit
DINNER: Grapefruit and Avocado salad with fortified lemon oil dressing
Broiled Steaks with parsley and wheat germ, Fortified Potatoes
Fresh String Beans with natural herbs, Yogurt sprinkled with
honey and grated orange rind. Glass of goat's milk with it drink
down 2 calcium tablets.
Note My Mother made fresh Vegetable juices( Carrot,Spinach) and all types Veggie juices with her Juicex Juicer each day, and we were required to drink said juice drinks. The carrot juice was very sweet and delicious and the Spinach juice was also quite tasty, and the other veggie juices we learned to appreciate for their outstanding nutritional value.
BREAKFAST: Apple juice, large glass,
Hot cakes with unbleached flour fortified with powered
milk and wheat germ and served with honey, glass of
Goat's milk. I also hated that Goat's milk, but my Mom said
it was better for you than old Cow's milk.. My same vitamin
mineral ritual as the day before.
LUNCH: Tossed fresh salad, fresh fruit bowl, fresh fish, Trout,Bass Pike
Baked and Rye bread toast

DINNER: Salad bowl/Home made Vegetable soup ,with naturally cured Black Angus beef. Broiled calves liver, fresh peas with herbs, Parsley ed
potatoes/red, Homemade Custard fortified with powdered milk, served with honeyed fruit. A cup or glass of homemade Vegetable juice. The best
homemade yogurt in the country was consumed on a daily basis. We drank more yogurt than that horribly tasting Goat's milk ,but again I repeat the Goat's milk is far more nutritional than regular cow's milk.

BREAKFAST: Sliced bananas sprinkled with honey, wheat germ, and served with Goat's milk. Easy scrambled eggs with beef bacon, Wheat
Germ muffins with honey. Fresh yogurt and my vitamin/mineral Ritual
LUNCH :Cold cuts (lean ),Salad of Tomatoes, cucumbers, and celery with
yogurt dressing.

* note Brewer's yeast was also utilized in most meals. Daily vitamin/mineral Ritual
LUNCH:Cream of celery soup prepared in liquefier with celery tops, onion, fresh and powdered milk, Fresh baked fish sandwich with whole wheat toast and glass of goats milk.
Dinner : Gelatin salad with bananas and nuts, green salad, Meat loaf with parsley and wheat germ, Short cooked asparagus in olive oil(30 seconds),
Sauteed parsnips, and carrots,Apple pie made with unbleached flour, raw sugar, fresh butter and honey; This was the best made and tastiest Apple pie that I have ever tasted ,and I have been all over the world. Ask my brother !
BREAKFAST:Sliced peaches, Waffles fortified with wheat germ and served with honey but sometimes we used fresh maple syrup made in Vermont, Glass of goat's milk with Black strap molasses along with fresh yogurt.Daily vitamin/mineral Ritual

At times during the football season we would consume a glass of goats milk, mixed with honey and molasses. Also fruit juices were consumed at all breakfast meals.
My mother made all of her breads, rolls, biscuits and all bake goods with unbleached flour, honey and all natural products and the first time I ate white bread was at the "Original Hot Dog Shop in the Larimer section of Pittsburgh which was known by some as "Little Italy ".
The Original Hot Dog Shop was our fast food restaurant ,and we went their about three or four times a year at best.
* Most of our vegetables we used were organic ,and we used fresh chickens from our Chicken Store, such as Pullets,Springer's, and Rhode Island Reds and the store was located on Wylie Ave or we purchased Chickens from a prime Kosher market in the Squirrel Hill ,section of Pittsburgh.

REMEMBER YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT,AND WHAT YOU ATE TODAY,WALKS AND TALKS TOMORROW.
