Marablehead Massachusetts. Grammy winning Wu Tang Clan member and solo artist Method Man has been arrested in New York on felony charges for failing to pay his taxes. The 38 year old rapper turned himself into authorities on Monday morning,after failing to file a return or pay taxes from 2004 to 2007.
Method man owes a reported $33,000,and could face up to four years in prison if convicted.
This same IRS refused to prosecute Tim Geithner for his far more egregious violations of our tax laws and granted him twelve waivers for his blatant contempt for our tax laws while arresting the 'Rapper Method Man which is further evidence of disparate treatment and selective prosecution on the part of the IRS. Geithner was even hiding several illegal immigrants that he was employing in vain attempt to avoid paying taxes. Geithner blamed all his errors on his accountants and the bag men and women in the U.S. Senate let him off of the hook.
Why didn't the IRS arrest and prosecute Timothy Geithner ?
