CHARLOTTESVILLE,VA. For the last two games the Virginia Cavaliers have only allowed a total of ten points in wins over North Carolina 16-3 and with a Saturday afternoon home-coming massacre of the hapless Indiana Hoosiers 47-7. Al Groh and his staff are to be commended for the outstanding stellar play of the entire defensive squad. The ACC has awarded two Cavaliers as defensive player of the week for the second week in a row and they are Junior cornerback Ras-I Dowling (Chesapeake Va.) for his great play in the Indiana game and defensive end Matt Conrath for his dominating play against North Carolina.
Coach Groh and his troops are on a mission to get to a minor Bowl game but the young Maryland Terps (Turtle ) are standing in the way so what will happen when the Cavaliers come up against the mighty Turtle on October 17, at 4 : 00 pm in College Park, Maryland. Look for Virginia Cavaliers to upset the pesky Terps 24-13.
Are Turtles really that tough to beat and how ferocious are Turtles ?
