The high flying Dogs of Georgia led by Big Time Trey Thompkins who had 20 points thumped the Yellow Jackets in Athens 73-66.
This was great victory for the Dawgs and first year coach Mark Fox.
The Wreck just can't seem to figure out how to win in Athens.
Mr. Lawai , if The Ramblin Wreck is a better team than the Georgia Bulldogs why didn't your team win last night ? Mr Lawai talk is cheap and the Dawgs did their barking on the court. Further Mr. Lawai when is the last time a Wreck team coached by Mr.Hewitt won in Athens Georgia against the Dawgs ?
The one thing we do know about college basketball Mr. Lawai is that a true champion will emerge based upon how well a team plays in the NCAA Tournament in March and April of each year. A team may have five or six McDonald's and Parade All Americans but never win one game in the NCAA Tournament. Georgia doesn't have one highly acclaimed Prep Five Star recruit but they still can beat any team on a given night.
The Kentucky Wildcats with their all world roster better watch out for
the mighty Dawgs of Athens.
The DAWGS stomped over the Yellow Jackets in football, Men's &Women's Track & Field , Baseball , Men's &Women's Swimming ,Men's &Women's Volleyball , Women's Softball , Tennis ,Wrestling and Cross Country, Golf and Gymnastics.
